Fly!2 User Manuals Covers

File Description:
A simple Microsoft Word file that can be printed as two covers for the complete set of Fly!2 user manuals. The first cover is for simulator documentation and aircraft on-board systems. The second cover is for the individual default aircraft. I printed my covers in color and bound the remaining PDF documentation in two volumes. I think they look real nice and thought I'd share with others. Feel free to modify as you like. NOTE: Requires Microsoft Word. Covers are formatted for US Letter printing.

Hot and Humid - Weather Theme

File Description:
This weather theme sets the weather to low pressure with hot temperatures and high humidity. Since this makes the air extremely light, expect significantly longer ground runs and a slower rate of climb. Winds are slight and there are some high towering clouds also. I have added a detailed profile of winds and temperatures aloft, so expect variations in altitude. There are no changes in location, i.e. the weather is the same all over the globe. The weather data is based on real Micronesia weather data.

Palm Springs Intl KPSP

File Description:
AFCAD2 of Palm Springs Intl (KPSP) This adds gates for the terminal to fit all serving airlines. There are a few gates missing due to the limitations of the size of the default terminal area, but airlines are given the correct amount of gates. There are only two gates omited and these are not assigned to an airline. There was enough room to add two of the overflow gates. The gates are numbered, placed and assigned to their respective airlines correctly as in real life.

FS Resample Tools v0.95 Beta

File Description:

This comprehensive, but easy to use, program will allow you to create custom terrain (photo-real ground textures) or altitude mesh for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Just provide a source image and indicate the geographical extents and the scenery is created in a few quick steps.

Also includes a top-of-the-line resample filter that lets you resize your image to Microsoft terrain requirements.

Elrond has graciously consented to have this program placed in the AvSim library.

Baron Stereo Sound Fix

File Description:
New in Version 2 : I have been given permission to use Daniel Sallee's internal Baron sounds which were recorded from a real Baron. As usual the stereo sound field has been greatly improved. You also now have two choices for the startup and shutdown sounds: A Detailed Arrangement with various ambient cockpit effects or a Pure one that works more like the default sounds. New external droning and the default non-combustion sounds are now utilized, in additon to minor adjustments to the CFG file.

Bamfield Air Harbour 1.1

File Description:
Bamfield is a small harbour on the Pacific Side of Vancouver Island just south of Tofino. The scenery includes a couple of buildings and a dock. An AFCAD files is integrated so the harbour will show up on the flight simulator map and GPS. There are two starting locations and one runway. This is a great place to explore the island from. The real life Air Traffic frequeny is also used for the harbour. Version 1.1 corrects the province location and overwrites the previous version.

File Description:
This is a new version of my 747.400 series panl for fs2004. This is an exact picture of the real 747 panel, using new interior views, realistic new gauges in xml format provided by many gauge designers I want to thank here. This panel must not be used with 747 default due to the virtual cockpit, but is designed for Opensky or Meljet planes (those released for fs2002 work perfectly with fs9). Please read carefully the readme text before e-mailing me about radionav frequencies settings.

American Airlines Boeing 747-200

File Description:
This is a repaint of the great Posky 747-200, in American Airlines colors. I kept the three upper windows instead of the many windows that the 747-200 has to make it look more similar to the real AAL747-100. A while ago I painted the 747-100 but FS9 users had been unable to use it, so here is the 747-200 that you will be able to fly. These files are only textures. You need to get the original Posky 747-200.

Con Air - Large Marge Fairchild C-123 Provider

File Description:
These are textures ***ONLY*** and are applied to Vladimir Zhyhulskiy's C-123, filename: c123.zip , available in the Avsim library. For those who have seen "Con Air" starring Nicholas Cage, these are the textures for the aircraft used BEFORE it was repainted for the movie. This is the REAL Con Air that transports prisoners to, I believe, somewhere in Oklahoma. I wish to thank Mr. Zhyhulskiy for presenting the flightsim community with this fine model and my thanks for his kind permission to repaint it. Enjoy! Heather

A-4E, VA-163, Saints, USS Oriskany, 1965

File Description:
This is a repaint of RAZBAM's excellent A-4E. These textures represent an A-4E of VA-163, Saints, on the USS Oriskany in 1965. In the real world this aircraft BUNO 151083 was shot down on 11/17/1965 by AAA on a mission over North Vietnam. The Pilot, LCDR Roy Howard Bowling, Operations Officer, was killed in action on the mission. VA-163 was disestablished on 7/1/1971. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the RAZBAM "The Skyhawks Volume 2" payware package
