The Flying W, as it was commonly known, was originally designed as a commercial passenger aircraft, at which it showed great promise. But a decision by the FAA to require multiple engines on passenger aircraft doomed it. Pan Am VA's SAAB 340B in a Special 2 year Anniversary livery. Pan Am VA has formed IGS (inter german service) with Saab 340's, CRJ200, and Dash8-400 aircraft. This Saab 340 is painted in early 50's livery flown by the real Pan American. PAAV is celebrating 2 years next month in the Virtual Skies.

With these files you will have an economical means to sharpen your instrument flying skills using FS2002. The virtual aircraft now behaves close enough to the actual C172 that real benefits may be realised by practising IFR flight on your PC. This new flight model is stable enough that precision flight by hand may be accomplished using pitch, power and trim.

File Description:
The traffic reflects the real life operations based on data from AirNav.com. Traffic set up to change for different AI Traffic % settings. There will be about 25 aircraft operating all day from the airport with arrivals and departures nearly constant.
This file will add plenty of parking to KAWO. It creates an apron in the area that used to have 10 short taxiways in a row between the two main taxiways. A Heliport is also added.

Beech Baron "Big Red". This is a repaint / cockpit upgrade of Ansgar Avermeyer's new Baron model BaronAvm_V1_12.ZIP. The livery and the cockpit interior bitmaps are based entirely on photos kindly provided by Ed Weber of Lake Havasu City, Arizona--the owner and pilot of the real aircraft. If you have my beta version of the Big Red in your plnpile (baronhpr) please replace it with this one.
Full aircraft, does not require any other files.

These files are updated sound files for the Electras uploaded by Bill Schulz of the Cielo Company, and for the Chris Buff Gmax L-188's. These sounds were digitally sampled from Reeve Aleutian Airways Electras prior to their demise. I believe these FS2000 style sounds are better than the FS2002 versions, so I've left them intact so as not to have strong "echo" sounds. For real-world Electra operations visit www.flyelectra.com.
