P-51D 363rd FS/ 357th FG "Isabel III"

File Description:
RNZAF pilot Flt.Lt.Jack Cleland served with the 363rd FS of the 357th FG between july and september 1944 as an exchange pilot. He flew several missions, including one of the Russion shuttle missions. His aircraft was 44-13537. but it's registration is less clear. B6-B/bar is the version that was used on a repaint of ZK-TAF "Miss Torque" in New Zealand in the '90s. B6-V is the version that is on display in the RAF museum. I've included both versions in this package. File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Shockwave Wings of Power P-47D-30 Thunderbolt, representing 42-27266, an aircraft that flew with the 316th FS/ 324th FG. It was photographed at Dole Tavaux (Y7) airfield in september 1944, but I have no additional info on this aircraft. Repaint for FS9 by Jan Kees Blom, based on a repaint kit by John Terrell. I have included a thumbnail for use in FSX. Although the model is for FS9 only, it works in FSX too.

This aircraft was damaged badly on 9 march 1945, when Harry Herschberger was forced to make a belly landing at Avricourt after an engine fire. File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, representing 44-72199, the aircraft flown by Capt Charles Weaver of the 362nd FS. His aircraft was one of the few to carry a nude in the 357th FG. He finished the war with 8 aircraft shot down, and an additional 5 destroyed on the ground. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by John Terrell. It should work in both FSX and FS9.

P-47D-23 Razorback, 39th FS, 35th FG

File Description:
Repaint of A2A Simulations WoP 3 P-47D-23 Razorback using Martin Catney's fantastic paint kit. This is Captain Leroy V. Grossheusch's P-47D-23-RE. He was Commanding Officer of the 39th Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Group at Mangaldan (Luzon, Phillippines) in February, 1945. Grossheusch claimed six of his eventual eight victories in this Jug before the group switched to Mustangs.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23-RA 42-27978 "Betty", an aircraft of the 316th FS/324th FG. It was involved in a landing accident on 21/01/1945 at Luneville, France, while being piloted by Richard Weitz. Apparently it was repaired, because it was destroyed after an emergency landing due to an engine fire on 09/03/1945, while being piloted by Harry Hershberger. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney
