America West Airlines Boeing 757-200 'Arizona'

File Description:
The historical Project Opensky or POSKY Boeing 757-200 has another paint to add to it's long list. This time it is that of the America West Arizona Special livery. This repaint is around 97% handpainted with a few photoreal elements added to ensure close to 100% accuracy and detail that is not commonly seen in the world of Flight Simulation. Nearly every pixel of these textures has either been modified or looked over in some way or form to assist in the detailing. The paint includes custom night textures, highly accurate textures that were compared to a long line of real photos of the aircraft, custom wing textures with fuselage reflection, dirt, shading and several other things that you would find on the other thousands of high quality paints available online. Paint and model have been tested with success in Flight Simulator X, however, it was mainly tested in Flight Simulator 2004 and I cannot guarantee the same results of throwing it into FSX. This is a complete package with model, virtual cockpit model, effects and virtual cockpit gauges so no other files should be required.

HEMM Mersa Matruh, Egypt

File Description:
Googly scenery for HEMM Mersa Matruh - a large Air Base near the north coast of Egypt. Marsa Matruh, as the town should be spelt, is a seaport 150 miles west of Alexandria but its main function today is that of a holiday resort for the residents of Cairo. It does not have an airport of its own, but uses a small corner of the Air Base for civilian flights. Microsoft Flight Simulator has made no provision for any traffic at this airport and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. Scheduled flights are operated by Egyptair Express using Embraer 170 jets, but other airlines call here from time to time, such as Air Sinai and Midwest Airlines. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

LELC Murcia/San Javier, Spain

File Description:
Googly scenery for LELC San Javier, Spain, a medium-sized airport on the Costa Cálida 17 miles south of Murcia. The airport sees daily scheduled traffic operated by Canadair Regional Jets and Dash 8 turboprops of Air Nostrum but a large proportion of the airport's traffic is derived from tourist charter traffic from operators such as Air Berlin, Easyjet, LTU International and Ryanair and the airport can accept aircraft as large as the Boeing 767. The north end of the airport is home to the Spanish Air Force Academy. Flight Simulator 2004 has made little provision for traffic with facilities only for general aviation aircraft and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. Houn, Libyan (HLON/HUQ)

File Description:
Googly scenery for HLON Hon, Libya, a small domestic airport serving the oasis town (which is correctly spelt Houn) about 250 miles south-east of Tripoli. It is the capital of the Al Jufrah region. Although the airport holds ICAO and IATA status, as far as I can establish there are currently no scheduled services to this airport, so present-day traffic is limited to the occasional charter, cargo or private flight. Flight Simulator 2004 has made no provision for traffic with only a runway provided and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. Puerto Rico AI Package

File Description:
This archive contains repaints and fictional flightplans for a variety of aircraft that operate in Puerto Rico. There are textures for Corporate Air Embraer 120s (5), the Air Flamenco Fleet of Islanders, MN Aviation Cessna C208Bs, Vieques Air Link Islanders, Linear Air C208Bs, CapCana C208Bs, the blue Roblex Islander "El Bebe", some Air Tahoma Convairs and a USDOJ SAAB2000 that operates repatriation flights and prisoner transport. There's also the CIA ATR42 that operates flights around the Caribbean and into Guantanamo Bay. Some seasonal aircraft are also here (operating to St Barths in the high season), these have a variety of real-world private registrations and there's the Islander N555DM too. There is alsoa PR Government (natural Resources) C208B. There are also afcads for the airports in PR, some more accurate than others. Many of these airplanes operate out of Aguadilla or Isla Grande (TJIG). The flightplans also reference some aircraft available elsewhere on Avsim (other Vieques paints for example, and the Roblex SD360). Some flightplans are also separated out by airline if you want to install thems separately using the MRAI installer (Corporate Air, Vieques and Air Flamenco).

Gulf Air Airbus A330-243 (Formula 1 c/s)

File Description:
A9C-KB (cn 281), version 1. Hand drawn recreation of the CLS A330-243 in Gulf Air's F1 livery, promoting the Formula 1 race that's going to be held at the new circuit in the beginning of April. It took Mr. Bader Murad and Gulf Air 5 years to get the livery from the drawing board onto the plane. Not like most of my other repaints, this particular repaint is rather clean, since no matter what I did, I couldn't rough her up alot without rendering the many layers to come up with the desertgrey/goldish/champagne colour useless. I did add some custom features like depress. panels and fuselage rivets to give it a realistic look and weathered the fuselage just a little. If you check above the windows and between the L2 and L3 doors, you can even see Mr. Bader's signature, just like on the real plane. These are textures only and intended for use on the Commercial Level Simulations Airbus A330 package. Installation is easy via the CLS livery manager or if you please ; even manually. Fly safe, land safe and enjoy the paint!

Whakatane Airport (NZWK), New Zealand

File Description:
Whakatane Airport (ICAO: NZWK) is a small airport serving the town of Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. It consists of a Asphalt runway flanked with a parallel grass strip and a helipad. While not a particularly busy aerodrome, there are daily movements by Air New Zealand/Eagle Airways Beech 1900Ds, general aviation movements including agricultural aircraft, training flights from the flight school and scenic flights to White Island off the coast of the Bay of Plenty. Of particular interest is the main terminal, designed by Roger Walker in the modernist style. It has survived in its original form since its construction in the 1970’s and gives a cheerful welcome to visitors disembarking to discover the many natural and cultural attractions in the region. This particular airport is of interest to me as I began my real world flying training there originally with Scott Air and later with Air Discovery (www.airdiscovery.co.nz) As well as flight training, they also fly scenic tours of White Island and Mount Tarawera. This Scenery Features: High resolution 10cm imagery for the airport including night map, Custom made buildings including night lighting and window reflections, extensive trees and grass.

Hopping Round The World Adventure - Pack 20

File Description:
My most difficult pack yet! I almost lost my bird on more than one ocassion. This HRW Adventure pack is how real-world pilots get into trouble. You might lose your plane during some critical phases of flight. Don't wreck your friend's LearJet. Things to ponder: Haven't used your de-icer yet in FS2004-you will unless you want ice buildup. Since AI pilots are bold enough to take off and land during these conditions I did the same. Everything starts out OK before it all goes bad quickly. You will run into a severe winter storm and unforgiving crosswinds and heavy winds for that matter. There is so much going on in this pack you will have little time to enjoy seeing Niagra Falls and the Statue of Liberty. Look for both once you take off. The only newbie in this pack is the iFDG 767. If this is how unforgiving winter is there is no telling what's in store once we head up next to Canada again, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Greenland and then onto Iceland. Well if you are still in one piece come join me. 207 takeoffs/landings and 32,970 miles flown so far.
