This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-21-RA 43-25519 D5-T "Stinker Too", the assigned aircraft of Lt. Rhinert Tadych of the 386th FS/ 365th FG. Lt. Tadych, of Manitowoe, Wisconsin was awarded the DFC for an attack on several tanks in the neighbourhood of Trier. Although his aircraft was severely damaged by flak early on in the attack, he held his position in the formation while bombing, strafing and destroying five tanks. The result was that his aircraft became a composite of three different aircraft. Lt Tadych flew 82 missions with the 365th till the end of the war. | P47D 368th FG/ 395th FS A7-G "Wild Bette" |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RA 42-26130 "Wild Bette", an aircraft of the 395th FS/368th FG, flown by Lt Richard Kik. He named his aircraft on the left hand side "Wild Bette", after his girlfriend. The name on the right hand side came from his crew chief, Sgt Mohn, since Kik often attacked targets relentlessly with disregard to anti-aircraft fire. In one 395th FS narrative is written "Lt Kik refuses to come back with any ammo". File Description:
This gauge has been developed for the FSX Flight Simulator SP2 or SP1. It should also work with Acceleration but this is not guaranteed by the author.The functionality for this gauge is based on the Honeywell C81A system. The gauge will provide resolution advisories (TA or RA) to the pilots via recorded voice announcements once the aircraft is in danger of a collision with an intruder. The gauge is a generic gauge, and can be added to any aircraft as a stand alone pop up window. This particular gauge is available in 3 color options for the display body and the control panel. They are gray, light gray and beige.

Fictional livery similar to the "ZS-HVR" texture set by Henning Van Rensburg/Aeroworx for airhead's fine Super Deke freeware package for FS9 - but all new and completely reapplied toward the RA Scout for FSX. I have no idea if this is a real-world aircraft, and have never been able to locate it by searching the web, but found the color scheme to be very pleasant to look at - and since it didn't look like this scheme was going to be redone by anyone anytime soon, I decided to have a crack at making an updated FSX version for the RealAir payware version of the aircraft. Includes versions for the standard Scout, plus Scout Amphibian and Tundra. (br> Requires RealAir payware Scout Citabria and Decathlon 2007 package.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23-RA 42-27910 #40 "Hun Hunter XIV", as flown by Lt.Col Gilbert O. Wynand Jr, the CO of the 65th FS/ 57th FG, based in Alto, Corsica. He was more or less responsible for converting the P-47 from a high-altitude fighter to a very efficient ground attack aircraft, which was used to great effect during operation Strangle, where the German supply lines in Italy were completly cut off by destroying all railways, bridges and roads leading to the front in middle Italy. This folder contains a repaint for the P_47D-25 Bubbletop by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of P-47D-25-RA 42-8601 #11 "Stump Lifter", as flown by Lt Benny Flake of the 525th FS, 86th FG. The painting on the left hand side was of a moviestar, Marilyn Maxwell, with the name "Miss Tennessee". The name 'Stump Lifter' on the right side stems from that fact that one of Lt Flakes friends, Lt. Riley Stewart said that his bombs never hit their target and that all he ever saw during sorties with Lt Flake were large tree stumps flying through the air. Lt. Stewart paid the squadron's artist to put the "stump lifter" art on Lt Flake's cowling without his permission, but he came to like it over time. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.

TCAS (traffic collision avoidance system) shows aircraft in the vicinity of
your own aircraft and warns when other aircraft are in close proximity or when
they their projected paths cross your path within 40 seconds.
TCAS features:
- It shows AI (artificial intelligence) aircraft
- It shows IVAO and VATSIM traffic when connected to IVAO or VATSIM networks
- It shows traffic on all altitudes
- It shows relative altitude and climbing/descending indication
- It shows intruders and gives proximity alerts (traffic advisories, TA)
- It shows traffic on the ground
- It does not give resolution advisories (RA)
- It shows the callsigns of the 9 aircraft closest to your aircraft
- Range is adjustable from 2 to 40 nm
- Display can be dimmed
- Take a screenshot anytime
(due to the size limit, the thumbnail picture looks a bit blurred. In the zip file, a screenshot of actual resolution (320x240) is included.

NASA TU-144LL: TU-144D aircraft (CCCP-77114) converted to a flying laboratory for NASA with four Kuznetsov NK-321 afterburning turbofan engines and re-registered RA-77114. The aircraft underwent many upgrades and modifications in its conversion to the "LL" Flying Laboratory, including the installation of more powerful NK-321 augmented-turbofan engines that were originally produced for the Tupolev TU-160 Blackjack bomber. NASA successfully used this aircraft to help in designing the U.S. Space Shuttle. She is no longer flying, nor are any other Soviet versions other than the TU-160. This model represents the maximum test payload and fuel for test flights, and includes real world engine/aero dynamics provided by NASA and further employed in this converted model (cosmetics are original). File Description:
HUD_Parameters.lua is a Lua script that displays flight parameters in a small text window that pops up when the script is selected by an assigned key or button if the aircraft is in the air.
Parameters displayed are:
• Indicated Airspeed (IAS. Kts)
• True Airspeed (TAS, Kts)
• Ground Speed (GS, Kts)
• Mach# (when above a user settable altitude, currently 25000ft)
• Altitude (ALT, ft)
• Radio Altitude (RA, ft)
• Vertical Speed (VS, ft/min)
• Vertical Speed per Nautical Mile (VS/NM, ft/NM)
• Attitude Indicator pitch (AI, degrees)
• Flight Path Angle (FPA, degrees)
The top of the script contains user settable values for the size and location of the display, the altitude above which the a/c Mach# will be displayed (default is 25000ft), the data update interval in milliseconds (default is 2000),
and whether or not data is to be logged in HUD_Parameters.log (default is 0, off). These values can be set using a text editor like NotePad.
A registered copy of FSUIPC is required to execute the Lua script. Simply copy the script to the Modules folder of FSX and use FSUIPC4 to assign a key, button or switch to toggle the script on and off.
The script turns off if the aircraft is on the ground.
