This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23-RA 42-27886 "Sylvia/Racine Belle", the aircraft flown by Captain Marvin Grant, of the 342nd FS/348th FG in New Guinea between the middle of 1944 and the end of that year. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

| Wings of Power P-47D-30-RA Fuerza Aerea Mexicana |

File Description:
The FAM operate single squadron of P-47s in the Pacific. This P-47 was assigned to 20th Escuadron Aereo de Pelea which was attached to 58th FG, USAAF in the Philippines. Operated since May 1945. The Mexican AF insignia was carried opposite US insignia both upper and lower wings. Vertical green, white and red stripes were carried on the rudder. In November 1945 Mexican pilots returned to home, but Thunderbolts still at Philippines because they were given to Mexican under Lend-Lease program. However, 25 P-47s were later given to Mexico to replace them.Requires prior purchase/installation of Wings of Power P-47 Thunderbolt pack available at www.shockwaveproductions.com

Ramsey, who was forced to bail out after an air battle on January 29, 1944. Repaints of Rainer Mehlin's framerate friendly AI model (9 LOD) in Aeroflot-Nord colors. The purpose of this update is to provide a repaint of an aircraft which is still operated by Aeroflot-Nord, since the previously painted RA-65066 is not operated by Aeroflot-Nord, but preserved at ARH (ULAA). The update is made on a new paintkit, so it gives more improvement in general, not only a new registration number.(Re-upload of the lost file)

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23-RA 42-8066 "Sweetwater Swatter" an aircraft of the 340th FS/ 348th FG, based in Papua New Guinea. The aircraft, probably the oldest surviving P-47D, is currently undergoing restoration in Australia.

This folder contains a repaint for the P_47D-25 Bubbletop by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of P-47D-30-RA 44-33252 #27 "Ole Baldy"as flown by Capt John Batten of the 525th FS, 86th FG, Italy 1944-45. When he was still a lieutenant, Capt was already suffering from a receding hairline, so naturally his squadron mates called him "Baldy". When he was promoted to captain, this became "Ole Baldy". Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.
