Lighthouse and Beams

File Description:
The lighthouse-plain.api is the one used in the Grand Lake O12 scenery project. It has a rotating beacon light & lamp. EOD source included. I darkened the lighthouse sides texture from the one shown here. All are re-scaleable without having to redo the EOD. Feel free to modify it. Beams API set so ya can agl altitude position them inside or over top of other api/objects. There's two kinds; 3 feet wide and 6 feet wide. These range in length of 100 yards (299 feet) to 5200 feet long. They all have a lamp and both beam & lamp rotate horizontal. They all just use the beam.bmp and the beam_LM.bmp Beam_LM.bmp is the only visable texture in the sim. The beam.bmp is the dummy.

EGGP Liverpool John Lennon Airport (Speke) Scenery Version 3.2

File Description:
Liverpool Airport and various local landmarks.

New to this release are; Apron Markings, The new terminal piers, Steam FX for Fiddlers Ferry powerstation (by Roger Clarke), The Marriott Hotel, Daresbury research laboratory tower, Norton water tower and various other buildings around the airport perimeter. Many of the original textures have also been reworked. A totally new AFCAD file is also included, aligned to the Apron Markings.

The scenery is aligned to the Visual Flight / Getmapping VFR Scenery published by Just Flight and has been specifically designed to complement the add-on. You do not however need the VFR scenery to use these files!

General Electric CF6 80 Series Soundset

File Description:
Finally released due to popular demand. I bring you all the GE CF6-80 series soundset. All exterior sounds in this set were recorded off of countless American 767s, Virgin Atlantic 747-400s, and Cargolux 747-400GEs at very close range for even more realism. The spool-up (which is only true to aircraft with these engines) is 95% authentic and were recorded off of CF6-80 powered aircraft. You will not be dissapointed. Huge file size, I know, but these are very worth it. Please Enjoy. Recomended for use with the Project Opensky 747-400, and any good 767 model you can get your hands on. I'd strongly recomend Sunny Xia's 767, it was my testbed for these sounds. Please Enjoy

Europe SRTM mesh Part 02: UK & Ireland

File Description:
Europe SRTM LOD9 mesh part 2 of 13: Covers all of UK & Ireland except the Shetlands, and a tiny part of France (from Calais to Abbeville). This Europe SRTM project was optimized for the lowest HDD space use: Each part macthing exactly the boundaries of its neighbors, you'll have a complete corevage of Europe without gap or overlapping scenery. Based on SRTM Data v1 and v2 (3 arcsec, 90m) and sampled to LOD9 resolution (90m). Each SRTM tile was carefully checked and repaired with Blackart v4.02: water areas are now flattened (lighter mesh), and SRTM voids were treated taking advantage of Blackart's sophisticated interpolation algorithm. When required, biggest voids were patched with oversampled SRTM 30 arcsec data and/or manual input.

Pratt & Whitney PW2000 Soundset for the Boeing 757

My quest for soundset making is winding down. I have accomplished much in the last 2 years of sound design and I am proud that people enjoy my work. However, all good things must come to an end, so why not go out with a bang. I present to you, the Pratt & Whitney PW2000 in the most realistic soundset to date. Everything is in this set from startups, shutdowns, apu and system sounds, flaps, gear, touchdown, roll, and ofcorse the engines, all in stereo. This is a set that hasnt been created before so its another flight sim first. If you know the quality of my soundsets then you will not be disappointed with this set. Vueling Airlines Airbus A320-214 EC-KBU

Introducing the famous Vueling EC-KBU, "Be Vueling my Friend" for the incredible Project Airbus A320-200. The model is included. Ladies and Gentleman, I have been waiting for over 2 years for a good Vueling repaint, but I haven't found any.. So tired of waiting I decided to move my lazy butt and to repaint my first aircraft, in the colours of my favourite airline, and here are the results! I want to dedicate the aircraft to my fellow workmate and friend Benito, to Justo, workmate friend and the one who put the name to this aircraft, and finally to all the Vueling crew who are based in Paris CDG, who are without any doubt the best persons on the earth!!! Bangkok Airways Airbus A320-232 "Samui" c/s

File Description:
HS-PGW (c/n 2509) (V1.0) Handpainted and fully vectorized for sharp textures recreation of Bangkok Airway's 'Samui' colour scheme. This A320-200 is one of Bankok Airways three A320 's that sport a rather attractive and colourfull livery. You can also find the 'Krabi', (HS-PGV) made by fellow repainter Kevin Prak here on AVSIM. High resolutions screenshots, future updates and fixes can be found on our website.These textures are for the Project Airbus A320 version 2, and include the actual plane, which contains an accurate model with details such as: opening passenger and cargo doors, animated pack inlets and outflow valves, all operetable control surfaces, detailed flap tracks and slat rails, hydraulics modelled on spoilers and landing gear doors.
