Pacific Sun (Fiji) ATR42-500 for AI

File Description:
Representation of Pacific Sun Airlines ATR42-500 for AI traffic. Pacific Sun is a new local/regional airline in the island nation of Fiji. Air Pacific, Fiji's international airline purchased local carrier, Sun Air in 2006, along with two ATR42-500 aircraft from Air Mauritius, to form Pacific Sun. Domestic service has commenced, and plans to expand regionally to provide flights to neighboring countries of Tonga, Vanuatu and Tuvalu are pending. This texture uses the ATR42-300 model from Project AI (http://www.projectai.com/), as there is no current -500 AI model available. A winter 2006 AI flight plan for Air Pacific, including the ATR flights, is available from AVSIM or from Dust Eagle at www.dusteagle.tk .

EZ Steam Train Objects Library

File Description:
EZ Steam Train Objects Library. This set of objects will allow you to design your own Scenic Railroad to enhance scenery in FS2004. The library includes straight and curved track, right and left switches, a track end bumper and a turntable. Also included are two Steam Locomotives, touring rail cars, two styles of water towers, a boarding platform, a maintenance shed plus an assortment of signage and other objects needed to build your own railroad. This library was created by John McKeon at the request of David "Opa" Marshall for use in his Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad project (OCSR.zip - available here). Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions.

Arik Air Boeing 737-7BD (5N-MJC) 'MARTIN' **UPDATE**

File Description:
After releasing this aircraft, I looked at it and something jumped out at me. The "bird" logo on the engines; somehow I released this without that logo. This update puts that logo on the engine as it is in the real aircraft (and as it is in my Project Opensky version of this repaint). This small package contains the updated engine textures only. If you are happy with the aircraft the way it is, then you do not have to install this update. This update requires the original repaint which can be found here at AVSIM, filename pmdg_b737ng_ara_5n-mjc.zip. You must own the PMDG Boeing 737 NG to use this and the original textures.

LOD10 (38-m) Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska

File Description:
This LOD10 (38-m) add-on mesh of Glacier Bay National Park and the adjacent Lynn Canal area between Juneau and Skagway (N58-60 W134-138) is an optional (!) upgrade of gl_bay_1.zip (by Holger Sandmann and Jim Keir). It adds more detail to the mountainous areas and allows to locally override other installed Alaska add-on meshes without having to deactivate them. The USGS NED seamless digital elevation data used for this mesh have a 2-arcsec (~60-m) resolution. Thus, the compilation as LOD10 (38-m) will reveal all terrain details contained in the source data. Please read the gl_bay_1.zip read-me file for further information about the special features of the Glacier Bay Project.

Wov & SFP1 Qmd Version 1.0e Tutorial Rev. 1

File Description:
Kreelin's WOVQMD is SFP1QMD updated to be compatible with Wings Over Vietnam SP1 & Strike Fighters Project 1 SP3. The original SFP1QMD tutorial has been updated as well. There are too many revisions to list. The latest Service Packs fixed a lot of issues (and created some new ones). Kreelin added a lot of new features and revised many of the old ones. The pdf file, "SfpqQmd.pdf", is a stand alone file that can easily be emailed, but the screenshot quality is terrible. You must also have Adobe Acrobat or and equivalent pdf reader installed to open it. Double-click on SFP1QMD_Help.html to use the web-browser version, which looks much better and works great!

Canadian Rockies LOD 8 Mesh

File Description:
As many of you know, NASA and the JPL have recently released 3 arc second (90 meter) elevation data for most of North America. The enclosed bgl file is intended to display the data more or less as it is, covering the Canadian Rocky Mountain National Parks. Many people are probably curious about the new data, and this project has been an attempt to satisfy that curiosity in a spectacular area so far unpublished on the internet. The data yields scenery in FS 2002 that far surpasses the default scenery. The area is also well visited by many people from around the world so I expect that this terrain will be recognizable to more than a few.

Timberline Lodge V1.0

File Description:
Timberline Lodge-gmax version1.0 for FS2004. This scenery focuses on Timberline Lodge (National Historic Landmark) located on Mt. Hood, Oregon and includes a helipad with night lighting effects. On June 11, 1936, at the brutal height of the Great Depression, ground was broken for a project unique in America. Timberline Lodge was built entirely by hand, inside and out, by unemployed craftspeople hired by the Federal Works Projects Administration. The building is a tribute to their skills and a monument to a government which responded not only to the physical needs of its people in a desperate time, but also to the needs of their spirits. Additional scenery elements complied with FS Scenery Creator 1.5

This update is the FINAL VERSION of my smoke effect project. It is the result of weeks in tweaking and testing. Coupled with the enormous amount of feedback provided by the community the effects have developed into this awesome upgrade which I personally endorse and use. This update contains and entire list (see Readme) of visual quality fixes which include resolving issues coupled with using the simulator dynamic weather feature while running the effects and frame rate issues from the first update. It also includes a complete tutorial on how to tweak the visual effects and the original .xml gauge to your personal taste.

File Description:
Boeing 747-287 AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS registration LV-MLP FS2004. This is a repaint of Aerolineas Argentinas 747-287 LV-MLP, one of the 6 200 series operated by ARG. The textures are painstakingly painted right down to the details with accurate markings, windows configuration, wings and engines. Mostly handpainted and features realistic dirt effects (after examining photos of the real bird). Day textures with realistic reflections are in DXT3 format for low size file. - It also includes some photorealistic misc, and internal parts textures (e.g. doors, 3D looking engine fans, below deck & main deck cargo compartments). All textures have been altered from the paintkit. Painted on Project Opensky's quality 747-200 v2004.8.5 gMAX model for FS2004.
