Airline Inventory Update #1 Download

File Description:
(Update 1 - 19 December 2005) Not long ago I embarked on a project to streamline my flight simulator's AI setup. I knew I had too many aircraft texture setsthat I was not using, too many unnecessary night texture files, installation of defunct airlines, and the like. So, I put together a spreadsheet showing my AI system with all the airlines and additional pieces such as vehicles and ships. This has been a very large and time-consuming project as my AI system has more than 7,000 texture sets, more than 2,200 airline folders, and other assorted AI components. Inside you'll find an Excel spreadsheet with all my airlines (more than 2,200) listed, Birds, Blimp, Corporate Aircraft, Defunct Airlines, Douglas DC-3, Float Planes, Government Aircraft, Helicopters, Medical Aircraft, Military Aircraft, Personal Registration Aircraft, Ships, and Vehicles - all associated with the FS AI system. In addition, I've included the spreadsheet's source text files for those that do not have Microsoft Excel. NOTE: You can download an MS Excel spreadsheet viewer (freeware) from the Microsoft site. Because of copyright restrictions and the size of my AI system, I have not provided links to specific files. However, I think you'll find the data very useful. See the readme file for a list of possible sources and contact information. NONE: Changes since the last update are reflected in "green" text. Frank Bass

Sikorsky CH-3 'Jolly Green Giant'. Three detailed Sikorsky CH-3 liveries of original helicopters, used by the USAF in the early sixties. Download

File Description:
This download, based on the original Giovanni Quai's Agusta HH-3F, contains three detailed Sikorsky CH-3 liveries of original helicopters, used by the USAF in the early sixties. -Sikorsky CH-3E USAF/21stHeliSqdr. No.703 'DUSTY'.Vietnam War Livery. CH-3E Jolly Green Giant heavy-lift helicopter, introduced in 1962. It was developed for aircrew rescue missions deep into enemy-held territory during the Vietnam War where the helicopters were best known as the "Jolly Green Giants". This version contains an improved and more detailed livery. -Sikorsky CH-3 USAF 1370th Photographic Mapping Wing, MATS, APCS, Turner AFB, Albany, GA 1959-1966. Bare metal liveries around 1966, No's. 39686 and 39687. These helicopters were used by the 1370th Photo-Mapping Wing for supply and support of geodetic ground stations in conjunction with aerial surveys. They were assigned to the wing in 1964 and replaced the H-21 "Workhorse". Both "Jollys" joined the Ethiopia-U.S. Mapping Mission (Project AF58-3), aka Project "King's Ransom " in 1964-1966. This unique mission was created in order to photograph and map the entire Empire of Ethiopia. If you want to know more about the 1370th Photographic Mapping Wing or photomapping helicopters in general, please visit the very interesting page of Jim Kinter sr. Air Force One Boeing 747-200 Download

File Description:
Project Open Sky Boeing 747-200 Air Force One, tail number 29000. This aircraft has been painted due to popular request on the POSky forums and is my second repaint of AF1, this time it's on a more accurate model. The overall aircraft model is correct, except the engines are of the wrong type (AF1 uses the B744 engines) and there are alot of missing antennae. This repaint is 100% hand drawn. Features accurate (or close to it) colors, correct window placement and livery positions, reflective textures, and "USAF" and the star and bar on the wings (commonly forgotten on other AF1 repaints; see picture). Includes a series of screen shots by Doug Leiser.

Delta 'Wavy Gravy' McDonnell Douglas MD-82(88) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
From 2000-2004, Delta Airlines repainted their fleet with the "Colors in Motion Livery". Featuring distinctive red, dark and light blue flowing colors on the tail and Delta logo on the front fuselage, this livery received a couple of nicknames such as "Flowing Fabric" and "Wavy Gravy." N934DL (MD-88) is currently stored. Repaint created with the October 2018 Paint Kit for the FlytheMaddogX. Tested in P3D, though this livery should be compatible in FSX. Please Note: PBR is still in an early state and is only available with the latest version of the FlythemaddogX, and P3DV4.4+. Although this livery will allow you to use both PBR and Non-PBR, you must ensure that the appropriate option is enabled in your Load Manager. This livery will not function/work properly with Tomatoshade. For MD-88 users: Please follow the special instructions within the README.TXT file to update and use your textures properly.

CFM International CFM56-7 Series Download

File Description:
My first time doing one of these. I present the CFM56-7 Series for all your Next Gen 737s. I recently flew on a 737-900 towards the front of the cabin and noticed that these engines arent like the annoying ones on the A320, they sound like an engine that would be on a heavy aircraft. I instantly gained interested and decided to make a set. All files are recorded off of 737 aircraft in 22.050kHz Stereo for optimal quality. Files have also been compressed to Microsoft APCDM format to reduce size. Recommended for use with the Project Opensky, Kittyhawk and PMDG 737s. Please Enjoy

CYVR Fictional Download

File Description:
Vancouver BC CYVR fictional AFCAD. It adds gates and cargo parking to default scenery. The gate numbers are as in real life, however, the layout is fictional as the terminal building is small compared to real one. I have assigned some airlines to gates, but beware that not all airlines may be included. I have tested this AFCAD with project ai and it works very well. I made sure that all minor bugs have been deleted. I would really appreciate your feedback as I am planning on creating other AFCADs soon mainly for Canada! Enjoy and happy flying to the gateway of beautiful British Columbia!
