File Description:
This is the third in a series of new and renovated float bases in BC. Minstrel Island is on the south side of Knight Inlet and 25 miles west of Knight Inlet Lodge (the previous post in this series). There is a resort on the island, though it is hidden from the air by the trees. Fuel and oil are both available at the dock, and there is a 17 feet tidal range, which would be interesting of it could be replicated in FS. The AI is an adaptation of that for CF36 and involves a GA Cessna, and a Seair Beaver flying from Campbell River to Knight Inlet Lodge via Minstrel Island. Again, because of large hills the landing of the AI may or may not take place, depending on wind direction and whether or not they fly into solid rock before landing. Take off and departure will take place. Ultimate Terrain Alaska/Canada would be a definite plus to get the water in the right shape and place. This scenery will not work without it.

Googlyafcad A&F Data file for SPJJ Jauja, Peru, based on Google Earth
satellite data.
Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided no facilities in Flight Simulator 2004
at this small domestic airport in Peru, which sees occasional passenger flights
from domestic operator L C Busre along with, possibly, other operators of small
aircraft - although information is hard to find.
The satellite data currently available for this area is of very poor quality, so
accuracy cannot be guaranteed but it is believed to be reasonably correct.

File Description:
This repaint of Rick Piper's Viscount 700 is c/n 99 delivered to CAA as VP-YNB on 5 May 1956 and named R.M.A. Matopos. In 1958 she was operated by Middle East Airlines and returned to CAA later that year after the crash of VP-YNE. She was registered to Air Malawi as 7Q-YKO in 1964 and returned to Air Rhodesia in 1968. In 1983 she was re-registered as Z-YNB in Air Zimbabwe colours and withdrawn from service in 1990 and used for training of Air Zimbabwe engineeers before being broken up in 2000. Jetairfly is part of the TUI group and operates both scheduled and charter flights to more than 70 destinations in the Mediterranean, Red Sea, Canary Islands, North Africa and the Caribbean. Ex-Sobelair 737-800 OO-VAC (c/n 33014) is the oldest NG in the Jetairfly fleet. Fully compatible with SP1. Configuration file containing the customer options of the real OO-VAC and custom bump maps included. Note: Textures only, iFlySimSoft B737 NG add-on required.

This is a wonderful 1929 Travel Air biplane, Magic One, based in Orcas Island, WA. The original model is by Bill and Lynn Lyons, and has been modified by Bill Schulz of The Cielo Co. for FSX (distributed with permission). This version is for FSX only and uses some default gauges for the virtual cockpit--there is no functioning 2D cockpit.
