SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our new FSX Concorde Sound Package! This add-on will hopefully bring Concorde back to life since the real thing no longer flies and I do not think an Olympus 593 turbojet engine has run since 2003. So to achieve this goal, I have worked to the bone to fine tune this sound and add as many features as possible. The main new feature of this sound is XML Gauge Sound technology, never seen before in a SkyHigh sound release, or on any sound package release for that matter. The XML gauge sounds include a brake sound, sonic boom sound effect, as well as a switch panel that plays various cabin announcements. 3D Sound Cone Technology has of course, been extensively used in this release, as with our other FSX sound releases. You can even hear the ground trembling from the noise when Concorde flies by. I could go for days explaining the features of these sounds but I'd like for you to hear them for yourself. So please give this download a go if you want to bring Concorde back to life with a very realistic sounding Concorde sound package for FSX! FS2004/FSX PIA Boeing 747-367, registatrion AP-BFW. Pakistan International Airlines B747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BFW, displaying the newly designed livery by PIA. This livery has not officially been unveiled, and according to sources there will be some modifications to it. This aircraft now wears two stripes, one golden and one dark green extending all the way to the tail. The wavy flag style has been enlarged and placed accurately on the tail from real photos. The word 'PAKISTAN' is painted on the belly of the aircraft. Towards the rear, the word Pakistan is written in thin Urdu letters as well. Engines repainted to give a shiny metallic look. Repainted on the Project Open Sky 747v4 Advanced model with all updates for FS2004 and FSX. Contains ground service vehicles, stairs, tow truck, catering trucks, luggage loaders and containers painted in standard PIA colors. Luggage containers specially repainted to give a more realistic look. Registration of the aircraft painted on the bottom of the left wing, as on the real airplane. Panel updated to include utility gauge and tow truck gauge and gauges for FSX users. Updated model and fde. Complete pack, requires no external downloads. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26267 B4-A "Sweet Sue", the assigned aircraft of Captain Julius 'Jack' Almond, of the 387th FS/ 365th FG. He was one of three pilots of the 387th that tested an electric bomb release, developed by the 387th's chief armorer, Sgt Joseph Piantino. They tested it for three months and found that it not only gave better accuracy, but was also easier to maintain. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26046 Y8-W "Fighting Gator" as flown by Lt. Fred Varn of the 507th FS/ 404th FG. It was a Republic Employee donated P47 that completed 200 missions without a technical abort and was retired from operational duties at a service conducted by the Group Commander. The aircraft was painted with the Republic Employee donated plaque and the ribbons of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and the Purple Heart. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-25751 # 47 'Dragon lady', as flown by Dick Wiessner of the 526th FS/86th FG. His crew chief, sgt DeLuca, had started stripping the paint of the aircraft when it was decided camouflage was no longer needed, but Wiessner told him to forget the paint and concentrate on the negine. With succes, the aircraft survived the war without any problem, and later served in the French Air Force. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

G-AKTH started life in 1945 as 45-4471,(military?) then off to The Netherlands as PH-UCR. Moved just up the road to Belgium wearing OO-ACL. Finally to Blighty as G-AKTH. Where she is kept busy. One AAIB to her name in which the pilot admitted he was looking elsewhere when he ran into a 'tall electrical power supply pole'! Which goes to show that even with 3500 hours under your belt, you are not infallible! :-)
Just remember what happens to naughty boys who haven't paid for their copy of A2A's Piper Cub. I'll say no more!

This repaint is for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire, representing the Mk IIa, P7308 of 71 Squadron, flown by Pilot Officer William R. Dunn. 71 'Eagle' Squadron was formed when American pilots joined the Royal Air Force at the start of the Second World War. No.71 Squadron operated Spitfires out of North Weald from June 1941 until September 1942 when the 'Eagle' squadrons were disbanded, when the USA entered the war in Europe. This paint is based on the livery worn for the 70th anniversary of the United States Army Air Force arriving at RAF Duxford in April 1943.

Repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney: Spitfire Mk IIb P8332 ZD-L 'Soebang', which, after a career with Mo.222 Sqn and the RCAF is still in existence, and can be seen in the Canadian War Musuem in Ottawa. The name 'Soebang' stems from the fact that this aircraft was bought with money collected by the people of the the Dutch East Indies. About 40 Spitfires were payed for in this way, all flew with the presentation names of communities in the Dutch East Indies on the nose.

This scenery is an addon to the excellent El-Paso scenery "elp_photo.zip" made by
Kevin Burns. It represents the "German PATRIOT Training Site" and the "German
Soldiers Club" at Fort-Bliss. The EZ-Scenery is dedicated to all the nice Raytheon
people and US/GE personnel I met there many times.
Jim Dhaenens was so kind to provide me with a PATRIOT Radar (RS), Engagement Control
System (ECS), Launcher (LS) and an Electric Power Plant (EPP) in a German system
configuration.
The El-Paso scenery "elp_photo.zip" available here at the avsim library is
absolutely required to enjoy this addon!

File Description:
This is a repaint of the A2A Simulations (formerly Shockwave Productions) "Wings of Power P-51D/H" for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. It represents RAF Mustang Mk.IV GL-M of No. 5 Squadron, South African Air Force circa April 1945 while the squadron was based in Italy. While the true serial number of GL-M is unknown, this repaint depicts it as KH671, the squadron's earliest Mustang IVa and the first P-51K supplied to the RAF. KH671 survived the war. The brown and green camouflage is my artistic choice and should not be considered historically accurate.
