| North American P-51D 352nd FG (PZ-J) |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51D-5-NA 44-13398, which was the first D-model to be delivered to the 352nd FG, just after D-Day. It was assigned to the 486th FS CO, Major Willie O Jackson, and received the registration J and a full set of invasion stripes by the 15th of june. Before the start of the Shuttle Mission to Russia and Italy, which began on 21 june, it received the characteristic blue nose of the 352nd FG. Maj Jackson used this aircraft to claim three kills on 18 & 19 july 1944. The aircraft was lost over France on 17 august 1944, with Lt William Reese at the controls. Luckily, he managed to escape the Germans. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

This folder contains a repaint for the P_47D-25 Bubbletop by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of P-47D-25-RE 42-26534 QI-M as piloted by James Thorne of the 361st FS, 356th FG in July 1944 from Martlesham Heath. The aircraft was shot down by flak near Groesbeek in the Netherlands on 18 September 1944 as QI-M, with the pilot, Capt Reginald McDowell evading capture and returning to his squadron. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the Aeroplane Heaven paintkit.

This is an imaginary repaint for A2A P-51D Mustang Civilian to fly in Africa (great in Orbx Open LC Africa) over Malawi and around.
The pilot's name on the fuselage is fictive : Jok Lubanga is the name of the "mountain evil spirit" (and the name of 2 beautiful songs by Geaffrey Oryema)
Made by Jean Marc with Gimp and FSRepaint v2.25, from the initial repaint 'USAAF Old Crow Early W' by Tom Weiss
(PS : on the screenshots, a few area have wrong reflections with sun light due to alpha channels inaccurate colors on the texture dds : these have been corrected on the enclosed dds files and should not appear at present)

P-51D-20 44-72550 #602 was assigned to Lts Balhorn and Treacy of the 462nd FS, based on Iwo Jima in 1945. P-51D-20 44-13298 52nd FG 2nd FS, coded QP-Q, nicknamed "Marie", was assigned to Lt. Freddie Ohr (the only Korean ace in the USAAF). A/c was lost on 8th December 1944, (MACR #10132) with Lt. Paul C. Keyser MIA over Austria. Repaint of the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by John Terrell.

Patrol Squadron FORTY-FIVE (VP-45) home ported at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, was initially commissioned Patrol Squadron TWO ZERO FIVE (VP-205) on 1 November 1942 at NAS Norfolk, Virginia. VX-45s primary role is Anti-Submarine Warfare. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson and David Biggar. Master textures by Kyle Schurb.

This folder contains a repaint for the Lockheed P-38 by Flight Simulations Design (FSD), in the colors of P-38J-10-LO 42-67451 'the Flying Dutchman', the aircraft flown by Lt William G.'Dutch' Schultz from Holdenville, Oklahoma. He joined the 55th FS/20th FG on 27 february 1944 until he was killed in action on 1 may 1944, shot down by flak near le Culot, France. The aircraft had flown 82 missions without an abort, a record for the 20th FG at that moment. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom. Please note that I have changed the texture size from 4096x4096 to 2048x2048, for the main textures, the spec files and the bump maps, which are all included. This should give better frame rates I hope.
