This sound is very acurate sounding compared to the real thing. The sound e=was taken from Janes WWII Fighters and I configured it for FS2004. It also workes with FS200, Fs2002, CFS1,2 and CFS3. I have provided flybys of a Corsair and Wildcat both use P&W Radiel engines.

A texture set for the Just Flight Supermarine Spitfire Mk IA of UO-S (N3197) operated by 266 (Rhodesia) Squadron and flown by P/O JWB Stevenson based at RAF Wittering during 1940. The aircraft was lost over Dunkirk on the 2nd of June 1940. Original aircraft by Just Flight required.

| North American P-51D 359th FG (IV-B) 'Princess Pat' |

This folder contains a second repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D 44-14534 IV-B "Princess Pat". The original Princess Pat was a P-51C (42-103339) flown by Lt. Edward J. Thorne with the 369th FS/359th FG out of East Wretham. This aircraft was lost 4 NOV 44 to enemy AAA. Lt. Thorne survived and became a POW. This paint imagines he was able to limp back across the lines in his damaged craft and return to duty. 44-14534 did fly with the 369th FS as IV-B, but no assigned pilot is known.
Lt. Thorne was unusual in that he flew from March until November 1944 but never took credit for his victories (by his count, 4-6 in the air and 1 or 2 on the ground), in fact he refused to arm his gun camera. "I do it because it's my job" he said, "...but I don't want credit for it." He is credited with the first reported sighting of an Me-163 Komet rocket plane.

File Description:
textures for cbfs beaufighter. One of the 24 Beaufighters flown from from Richmond NSW to Bohle River near Townsville Q for operational training. Crew: Pilot FLGOFF Harding & Nav SGT H. Cane (Dick p.18). 22/08/42 Damaged lower cowling, tail and rudder. 26/08/42 12 RSU for repair. 08/07/43 30 Sqn. 22/07/43 Damaged port wing tip when it struck a Japanese flag pole whilst strafing buildings at Gasmata (Series of photos including AWM OG0023). Dick p.124 claims medium Japanese anti-aircraft fire had blown off the 45cm of wing tip. Aircraft ground looped on landing at Turnbull airstrip NG but no further damage was done. Crew: Pilot FLGOFF Graeme Hunt & Nav PLTOFF Arthur Hodges. 19/07/43 15 ARD for repair. 08/08/43 30 Sqn. Coded V. Around this time a large reclining girl was painted on the port fuselage, forward of the cupola. It was copied from the July 43 edition of Man magazine (Photo - Parnell p.29) 30/03/44 5 OTU. 29/04/44 5 AD. 25/08/44 5 OTU. 21/02/45 5 AD. 06/11/45 6 AD. 14/12/45 Converted to components.

This folder contains a repaint for the Northrop P-61C Black Widow by DC Designs. It is painted as 43-8334 (c/n 1380), which was accepted by the USAAF 4 September 1945. It was used for maintenance training at Chanute Field IL, and was stricken on 18 August 1947. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the original textures by DC Designs
