Replacement FDE's for the AI Aardvark MD-8x
to correct a problem of the aircraft
vanishing on landing as soon as they touched
down. This seems to be a rare occurance and
only a few users have reported this problem.
If you have not had this problem, you do not
need this file.
Also includes a FS2002 FDE that is more
robust than the fs2002 fde that was included
with the original released model.

DHL McDonnell Douglas MD-11F . DHL dont operate the MD11 but if they did it might look something like this . Rework of the textures including bump files and improving the overall quality of the aircraft. Improvements include door hands engines wings and complete fuselage. No frame rate hit from these textures. FSX only and I can not convert them to FS2004 as a lot of the improvements are in the bump files. Textures only for the PMDG MD11. Thumbnail included. Also including new night textures. Textures also work in DX10.

File Description:
This package includes a great set of jet engine sounds, as heard from the cabin. I created and modified them in 16-bit stereo with a lot of BASS.. so you will hear the roar of takeoff and the rumble of reverse thrust! They are made specifically for the MD-80, but work well with the B717 and F100 as well. Highly recommended, but you should have Sound Blaster or better on your machine along with good speakers and subwoofer. I recommend headphones!!! I also include a very realistic wind-sound...which gets louder with aircraft speed.

The MD-82 first flew in 1991 with serial number 53165, was part of the fleet of Us Air, from 1992 to 1995, being in this last year when already became part of Spanair, called "Sunburst" with registration EC-894 and EC-CGV then until March 2012 SAS passing, now I think it is stored or scrapped. Addons FMC, GPWS, Ground-handling, model by Alejandro Rojas Lucena (with VC), texture by Juan Villamor. Full aircraft. More at http://simrepaints.envaldemoro.com.

FS2004 McDonnell-Douglas MD-80 in Mediterranea Virtual Airlines livery, the first Italian Virtual Airline since 1996. You will find that we've completely redone most of the model, making it nearly 100% Gmax material. It features the latest reflection including dynamic shine, lighting, and animation technology including accurate flaps, landing gears and thrust reversers. The FDE is the superb MD80 FDE by Sam Chin with modifications by Mike Baumann, and the model is by Jonathan Stewart and Erick Cantu (FFX/SGA).
