File Description:
Glacier Bay v2 is a complete replacement of the default FS2004 landscape and scenery of more than 90,000 square kilometers (36,000 sq miles) of Southeast Alaska and adjacent areas of Yukon and British Columbia. File 2 of 2 (also requires glbayv2a.zip)
Landscape enhancements include high-resolution terrain mesh, detailed shorelines, rivers, lakes, and glaciers, and accurate land cover data with custom seasonal ground textures. Inland water bodies can be made to "freeze over" via an on/off switch. Other landmarks include the settlements of Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Yakutat, Atlin, and Carcross as well as road and railroad networks, cabins, lodges, and lighthouses. We modeled or enhanced 16 main airfields (plus one fictitious airstrip), 20 unlisted airstrips, 16 seaplane bases, and seven heliports. We've also included AI ship traffic in various locations as well as optional flightplans for GA and floatplane AI traffic.
Glacier Bay v2 is fully compatible with other third-party add-ons, including terrain mesh (FSGlobal, FS Genesis, etc.), ground textures (Ground Environment, BEV, FScene, etc.), and landscape enhancements (Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska, Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords, Freight Dogs). A configurator panel (requires .Net Framework!) allows users to set compatibility options and to choose levels of scenery detail. We provide an autoinstaller and detailed documentation with a sectional map of the coverage area and a list of weblinks to real-world information.
For feedback and questions, please visit the Glacier Bay v2 support forum at http://forums.fsaddon.eu/viewforum.php?f=10. This project is a collaboration of nine FS developers from Germany, Austria, USA, and Canada, logging more than 1000 hours of work over the past 14 months. We acknowledge the kind support of FSAddon.com. However, this project is independent of any commercial company or product. Enjoy!

| KLVN - Airlake Airport - Lakeville, MN, USA |
|
File Description:
KLVN - Airlake Airport beta version .3 - by Jason Boche
This is an update of the default FSX KLVN airport. Aside from the original 12/30 runway, everything else at this airport has been completely ripped and replaced.
Enhancements include:
-Extended runway on each end to depict current configuration
-Accurate taxiways including Hamburg Ave. and buildings representing the current general aviation hangars
-Added navigational equipment on the field
-Added a few asphault and dirt service roads
-Added FBO and other buildings as close as I could match them
-Added some general aviation aircraft, civilians, vehicles at the FBO and hangars, and two fuel trucks
-Moved fuel station to where I believe it is currently according to Google maps with 100LL fuel trigger functional
-Moved the windsock to accurate location
-Moved the beacon to accurate location
-Moved GA parking spots
-Added trees around FBO and beacon
-Added utility poles
-Added a few square miles of Lakeville city, farm, and residential land class and autogen according to Google maps. This is probably the biggest improvement. It now looks like people live, work, and shop north/northwest of KLVN.
-Reworked the runway 12/30 blast pads to what I believe is the "proper" method. Instead of freehand polygon asphault, they are now actual runway extensions on both ends with yellow chevron markings
-Reworked the land class on the southwest end of the airport where I believe hangar expansion is intended. Prior to this, there was a sharp contrast between where the KLVN airport boundary ended and where generic farm landclass began which was right in the middle of the southwest taxiways and it looked bad. Now that whole region is grass and looks to be part of the airport parcel.
-Minor building adjustments west of the FBO to better match actual placement. Will only be shown on high scenery detail.
-Fixed a gap on the southeast end of Hamburg ave taxiway where it rounds the corner for the rwy 30 hold short line
-Randomized the directional facing of some of the cars parked at GA hangars
-Renumbered the parking spots 1-4 with #5 being the refueling spot
-Reversed the start direction of parking spots 1-3.
-Pulled the refueling parking "start" spot back because on start the engine cowling & prop were too far forward inside the fuel pump equipment
-Added an autogen exclusion to the rwy 12 short final due to trees popping up on short final path.
-KLVN tower viewpoint 25 meters above FBO.
-Removed the perimeter fence around the entire field

File Description:
Sydney is a maritime port on the east coast of Canada, on the eastern corner of Cape Breton Island. It was founded in 1785 and grew in size emormously from 1900 as a steel mill was founded that prospered along with local coal mines until 1950 or so. After that date and following the final closure of the mill in 2001 the population declined to the current 29,000 or so. The airport is 3 or 4 miles southwest and inland of a coastal urban area which stretches from New Waterford in the north through Lingan, Dominion, Reserve Mines, and Glace Bay, to Port Caledonia, and 5 miles east of the town of Sydney which is beside a sheltered deep water harbour area. This version is not from a fixed date as although I had video of some of the buildings from 2010 I inadvertently constructed part of the apron layout from 2018 information, and then decided to keep it like that either because I liked it or perhaps was too lazy to redo it. The terminal building and the garages to the east of the terminal are original and old, though renovated and maintained to a fairly good standard. The other buildings on the airport are "hangars" in the expected form, with steel frames, insulated cladding, and pitched roofs. The airport publicises it's ability to cater for all the needs of visiting aircraft, with a large FBO hanger just beside the terminal. There are (or were, before the virus came along) scheduled flights by Westjet, Air Canada Jazz, and Air North, which are included in the AI along with GA flights. The runways are 07-25 at 7,000 feet and with PAPI on 25 and ILS on 07, and 01-19 at 6,000 feet with PAPI on 01 and ILS on 19. You will see once the scenery is installed that there are two folders in Sydney CYQY called "Scenery summer" and "scenery winter". Editing the folder name down from "scenery summer" to just "scenery" results in FS9 loading the summer ground textures and parked planes etc. In February you would edit down the "scenery winter" folder to just "scenery" and the unused and unswept taxiways, runway, and aprons will be invisible under the snow, the open-topped cars will not be parked in the open, and privately-owned planes will be in the hangars. If FS9 decides that there is snow on the ground then you need the winter textures, if not then the summer textures. The winter textures are not the full-snowdrift-middle-of-Winter-gale type and are more like early or late winter. One thing you must NOT DO is to edit both folders down at the same time.

| Italian Air Force Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb |
|
File Description:
The Spitfire MK V was one of the best known marks, powered by the Merlin 46 of 1440 hp. It served from the Summer of 1941 on, and was the first Spitfire to serve overseas. The trop was modified to operate in dusty and adverse envionments such as North Africa. These modifications extracted a small performance penalty. The Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) received 53 Spitfires Mk V from R.A.F., during August of 1944, but , due to their poor conditions, only 33 of them were used. These planes, assigned to 20 Gruppo of 51 Stormo were based on Galatina Airport (Lecce, Italy). Two of these Spits flown during the last mission of Regia Aeronautica during WW2 (5 May 1945). Textures only for payware 'Sky Unlimited Spitfire Mk V'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

| Koorbygen Lite |
|
File Description:
Koorbygen Lite is a replacement set of autogen buildings for FS2004 in the North America region. It features incredibly realistic building textures taken from real photos, with many subtle details which adds tremendous realism to flying below 500FT AGL. You've never seen autogen as detailed as this in Flight Simulator before! You can literally see people working in office buildings, see detailed foyers, cafes, pizza shops, hardware stores, hotels, and beautifully detailed houses with porches, shutters, garages and bay windows - this is about as real as the autogen engine will get. And then wait until night falls. The most utterly gorgeous night lighting brings your towns and cities to life with softly shaded lighting, halos, shadow and color used to really depict a city at night. Koorbygen Lite makes low and slow flying a joy!

| CYAZ Tofino, B.C. |
|
File Description:
Tofino is a small airport on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. Daytime operation only. Right next to the airport are a campground and golf course. This enhancement is based on ground and air photos and is pretty close to the real thing. All default buildings have been replaced. The golf clubhouse (complete with putting green) and the campground office were added. The Budget Rent-A-Car office and North Vancouver Air "terminal building" were custom made by Dave Bedwell. Tofino is a heavily wooded airport and I added trees to simulate that. Many thanks to Vancouver Island resident and flight simmer Irvin McIntyre for the wonderful photos he took for me at Tofino airport. I've included some of them in this zip file so you can see what the real Tofino looks like.

flying to several towns and fishing communities along the northwest shores.
This week the RCAF has sent to many volunteers their acceptance papers who
will probably be flying in European Skies soon. This then, is a proud flight, knowing you
are being part of the hammer which will bring the Nazis to their end.---The flight is flown by "Pilotage", eyeballing your map and terrain so I have includded instructions on how to place it in your FSX kneeboard...." They Flew higher than eagles, they flew to Peace"
