File Description:
easyJet is a British airline carrier based at London Luton Airport. It is the largest airline of the United Kingdom, measured by number of passengers carried, operating domestic and international scheduled services on over 600 routes in 32 countries. easyJet has seen rapid expansion having grown through a combination of acquisitions and base openings fuelled by consumer demand for low-cost air travel. The airline, along with subsidiary airline easyJet Switzerland, now operates over 200 aircraft, mostly Airbus A319. It has 23 bases across Europe, UK, the largest being Gatwick. In 2012, easyJet carried over 50Â million passengers and is the second-largest low-cost carrier in Europe, behind Ryanair.
easyJet livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-214 model (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more.

Main rotor, which is fully articulated. Show/hide flight controls feature by a single mouse click. Show/hide passengers feature by a single mouse click. Show/hide pilots feature. Depending if the helicopter is on the ground, with both engines off and the battery switch off, some other objects will show or hide. And much more, find it out yourself! / Clickable Virtual Cockpit; the most important switches and knobs do its job! Engine starter, fuel valves, etc., you name it! / Integration between 2d panel gauges and virtual cockpit gauges, switches and clickspots. Caution and warning messages, depending on helicopter’s conditions and limits. / Instrument backlighting effects at sunset, night and dawn! / Your flight experience will be enhanced by a sophisticated sound system which resembles the Pratt&Whiney PW207D1 Turboshaft Engines. You will be able to enjoy the start up and shuting down sequences for both engines from interior and exterior perspectives; audible transitions between idling, on ground at 100% rpm and also in flight conditions. I have included -as a bonus- a set of two audio files meant to be used beside the BladeSlapSND (Helicopter Blade Slap Sound Gauge) by Stephan Siebertz. / Author: Sergio Kauffman.

File Description:
The Russian Air Force 37th Air Army operates the TU-95MS (TU-95M 55 Bear H) from the 182th TBAP unit based in Zavitinsk and 6213 BKHUAT based at Engels Air Base in the Moscow Region. It's use is primarily in maritime operations. She carries cruise missiles even if only used for submarine comms. Her initial design is a competitor with the B-52, but uses 4 Turboprop engines with 8 contra-rotating props. She can fly about as far as, but not as high as the B-52, nor can she fly as fast. She is often monitored off the coast of Alaska and easily met with F-22 Raptors every time. She is also often met by NATO fighters near European borders. Since 45,000 feet is about the highest she can cruise, most fighters can meet her. Her real danger is the cruise missiles which, if launched, have a range more than 1,500 nm and can pinpoint any directed target using GPS ground control. She is normally flown in formations of 3 or more, but sometimes only 2 are observed. She is not designed to fly fast over low terrain, like the B-52, but can do-so if necessary, and dangerously. The aircraft has not seen any major improvements or modifications since the cold war era, and several have crashed due to lack of maintenance. It is currently unknown how many are in service condition. Since much is unknown about this aircraft, yet enough is known to re-create an authentically working model, I have done-so here. Every bit of the aircraft.cfg file and associated .air file has been re-worked to match what known data can offer, and known aerodynamic formulas can equate. The most difficult aspect is the Turboprop aspect, since Turboprop engines do not work like jet engines in any way. Luckily for the simmer, there is no need to adjust feathering or anything like that would be necessary in a normal Turboprop because these engines are self-adjusting. Even though they meet the full known specs of the real engines, I have actually worked all the math to make them actual Turboprop engines (not pseudo-jet engines). That may sound exciting, but you must remember that she is a prop-driven aircraft, and not a jet. Even though you can fly her like a jet, the engines do not adjust like a jet. All aspects have been configured to meet realistic standards, including the MOI factors, weight/balance (including payload positions), gear locations, aircraft dimensions, light positions, engine smoke locations and operations, and weight. I did not simply throw this together, but have been perfecting her for many years. Original Modeler/Sounds: Vladimir Zhyhulskiy (2006); Panel: Marco Spada; Auto Smoke Effects: Richard Wisman; Aero/Engine Dynamics, effects, and details: Douglas E. | EICM Galway Airport, Ireland |
|
File Description:
Ireland EICM Galway Airport. Galway airport is a small regional airport situated on the West coast of Ireland. The runway is 1289m(4230ft) in length and is therefore only suitable for GA and small jets. This scenery also includes EICA Connemara and the three airstrips of the Aran Islands, EIIM Inishmore, EIMN Inishmaan, and EIIR Inisheer. EICA Connemara plays host to the shortest scheduled airline service in the world, operated by Aer Arann, and appropriately using BN2 Islanders. In June of 1919, Alcock and Brown crashlanded their converted Vickers Vimy in a Connemara bog, having successfully completed the first non-stop transatlantic flight.
All the terminals and buildings are custom made and static aircraft add a sense of realism. The BGL files have been subdivided so the user can switch various elements of the scenery on or off according to preference. For added realism I have also added some sound effects, animations, people, grass, and rocks. Each airport has a complete set of night textures with wash lighting in the carparks and terminal areas.
The scenery has been primarily designed for VFR photographic scenery using 10m mesh, but will also work with the default terrain, although there are some variations with the default 38m mesh at Inishmore. All the five airports use objects from my Ireland Static object library, 3d aircrew and VFR trees. Full installation instructions are given in the Readme file. I hope you enjoy the scenery as much as I enjoyed making it.

File Description:
McDonnell Douglas F-4C Phantom II (AI Phantoms Phorever Part 1). This is one of the most iconic military aircraft of all time, ushering in the modern age of air combat; from Asia to the Middle East; and many of the 5,057 manufactured airframes are still in active use today, after over five decades of excellent service. This model set utilized FSDS source files for Nick Black's original F-4E Phantom II 8-LOD AI model, and has been heavily modified for this project. Numerous changes are listed in the extensive documentation with this file. This file contains early and late F-4C base models, as well as the EF-4C Wild Weasel variant. The three main aircraft variants include a total of 24 loadout options, and numerous paints representing these aircraft in service. I have also included a layered Photoshop paint kit for eager repainters. Of particular note, for the F-4C late model, is a large collection of 58th Tactical Fighter Training Wing repaints from my hometown Luke AFB from the 1970s. This project is the first part of what will hopefully be a comprehensive and fairly complete (AI traffic) history of this aircraft. I did not do this alone by any means, and all contributors that I can think of are listed in the documentation. This is the complete aircraft, with all main FS textures and effects included. Original FSDS source and paint kit by Nick Black; FDE by Mike MacIntyre, all model/paint kit modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.
