File Description:
Modified .AIR and CFG files that allow you to practice instrument flight while hand flying the default C172SP. With these files you will have an economical means to sharpen your instrument flying skills using FS2002. The virtual aircraft now behaves close enough to the actual C172 that real benefits may be realised by practising IFR flight on your PC. This new flight model is stable enough that precision flight by hand may be accomplished using pitch, power and trim.

Landing Parameters for FSX and P3D

File Description: Landing_Params is a Lua script for FSX/P3D that displays landing parameters in a small text window that pops up after the aircraft has landed and has reached taxi speed. The script should be activated with a key or button (like the gear down key/button) during the approach to landing. Parameters displayed in the window after touchdown are Indicated Airspeed (IAS, Kts), Ground Speed (GS, Kts), Landing Distance (LD, ft), Landing Roll (LR, ft), Vertical Speed (VS, ft/min), Attitude Indicator pitch at touchdown (AI), and Bounce Count (BC). Data collection begins when the a/c passes through a radar altimeter determined threshold altitude window between 45 and 55 ft (i.e., the nominal 50ft threshold height). In addition, more detailed landing parameter information may be logged. A registered copy of FSUIPC is required to execute the Lua script.

File Description: FSX Gauge: VTOL/Hover (V4.0) for Wilco Tiltrotor This freeware package adds new V(S)TOL & Hover features to the Wilco BA609 Tiltrotor. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics when the nacelles are rotated out of the normal flight position; in short, it's a V(S)TOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. To use this addon, you need to have the (payware) Wilco Tiltrotor installed, and working, in FSX. The README includes extensive installation and flying instructions. By Rob Barendregt.
