File Description:
Includes: Ocean Sky ramp, ROMPA light aircraft park, TATON light aircraft park, Access to Western Maintenance, Re-designation of runways to current format (ILS etc. also changed to suit), Re-designation of taxiways, Frequency changes, Added some hold points (more in later version), Other general taxiway adjustments. The inspiration came from a recent VATSIM session from EGCC. I was flying my Tomahawk but had no scenery for TATON, ROMPA, or the Ocean Sky GA areas there. So I've used my real-world charts and Google Earth to add these three areas to the default AFCAD. Also note that the runways have been re-numbered to 23/05(L/R), and I have made the Western Maintenance area accessible. My other objective was to insert and change the taxiway designators, so many of these have been cleaned up and changed too. See Readme file for more details...enjoy!

File Description:
This has been upgraded to FSX by request. After a little scouting around, I have found an AFCAD conversion tool, and so will be releasing all my FS2004 AFCAD's with an UNSUPPORTED FSX version. It will remain unsupported because I have not actually got FSX, so I can do little to help. However, I will still do my best to help anyone who is truly stuck. Support will be available as soon as I make the move to FSX, which shouldn't be too long...I hope ;-D. Scenery for the German air to ground ranges ED-R37 Nordhorn (ETUN) and ED-R138 Siegenburg (ETAV). Both are used by NATO air forces to practice ground attacks. Nordhorn located close to Hopsten AB in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Siegenburg is located near Ingolstadt/Manching AB in Bayern. After years of research watching airliner videos, flying real airplanes into and out of big airports where runways are filled with sounds from the centerline lighting, bumps, and pavement gaps - I have perfected the ground roll sound.
I find this one so bold, clean and clear, that nothing else compares. I have tried them all... ones with freeware and payware aircraft. Assembled myself over one month time. Recommended for 1Gig memory computers ONLY. Anything less may cause a pause during touchdown as sound must load. On a 1Gig machine, there is no pause and the touchdown followed by rolling on landing is awesome. Takeoffs are as loud and rumbly as they should be! You'll experience rattles, centerline clump clump clump and more!
