Dreamfleet 737-400 Panel/Air and Ariane Gmax Visual Model Merge

File Description:
Dreamfleet/Flight1 Panel and air file merged With Gmax Ariane 737-400 Aeroflot visual model in FS2002. NOTE: users may have both Dreamfleet and Ariane products to run my merge beacuse I don't send any *.bmp, *.mdl or *.air but only a rewritten aircraft.cfg and the instrctions! This merge of the excellent Dreamfleet/Flight1 panel and the Ariane Gmax Aeroflot 737-400 is a combination of adjustments made by me, Mirko Masiero, on previus work of Jason Barlow and Lou Betti. Do not bother Dreamfleet/Flight1 or Ariane with any problems due to this merge. They will not support it in any way. I may support it a bit as I find time, but you're basically on your own. I'm just contributing this to the community. If and when Dreamfleet/Flight1 release a Gmax visual model, I will cease to use this. The flight model should be exactly the same as the Dreamfleet/Flight1 737-400. This merge uses the Dreamfleet/Flight1 air file and most of the aircraft.cfg too. The station loads in the weighting section come right out of an aircraft.cfg edited by the Load Manager, so you could copy in your own station loads if you desire. Known problems: For some reason regard Flight One 737 air file and Ariane model interactions,the ailerons do not work VISUALLY (only!) even though they work on Ariane 737-400. I do not believe there is anything I can do about this. The virtual cockpit, I Think due to a particolar Ariane model design, is not usable, but this is a minor issue... Enjoy! F/A-18 Hornet HUD/ fighter jet panel, with "meatball"/IFLOLS

File Description:
This is a HUD (Heads Up Display) gauge modelled after the F/A-18 Hornet's. It looks very similar to the real thing, and hopefully operates much the same. It features working and properly scaled elements such as a pitch ladder, velocity vector, and AoA bracket, among other essentials (basic flight and nav info), and includes several switches to turn on/off or modify various HUD elements. A good HUD should be a primary flight instrument, and this was designed with that in mind. I've also included a "meatball" gauge, which displays the Navy's IFLOLS lighting system used for carrier landings. The panel, beyond the HUD, is rudimentary and was designed for those who value function and utility over eye candy. (A panel "artist" I am not, heheh!)

FIX - FS9, FSX Panel for Savoia Marchetti SM 79 (sm79_sp1.zip)

File Description:
FIXES PROBLEMS of a PREVIOUS RELEASE. This panel was created from original pictures and it is intended to be a good compromise between historical accuracy (see enclosed .jpg pictures) and the need to concentrate the most frequently used controls in one window. For this reason there are some differencies in gauges location from the VC provided with the aircraft. The most relevant are the addition of a small side panel to host light switches, and the location of the autopilot on the left of the cockpit. Since this SM 79 is one of the most beautiful freeware airplanes available (both graphic and dynamic models wise), to ease her usage a modern days navigation kit is also available. Uses original SM 79 package gauges plus some additional ones (included).

Boeing 727-200 With Custom Panel and Active Engine Smoke Effect

File Description:
This is a modififation of the FFX B727-200. Modified airfile and flight dynamics. Includes custom panel using default FS2004 gauges and my "Active Smoke" XML effect. Jetsmoke is linked to the throttle so no more need for the "I" key. Textures re-compressed using my "blurry free" method. All credits are listed in the README file as well as install instructions. All files included! FS2004 ONLY!

Yamamoto Shootdown by Lockheed P-38G with AI Aircraft and Scenery

File Description:
Re-Upload. This package provides a new P-38G modified specifically for recreating the mission that resulted in the interception and shootdown of Admiral Yamamoto over Bougainville Island in 1943 in accord with available documentation (links provided). The panel, mixture controls, capacity of the external tanks and the flight dynamics have been tailored to provide accurate power settings and performance to closely match the historical flight. Included are detailed documentation of the new aircraft, and the P-38 fuel settings used by the Army Air Corps before Charles Lindbergh suggested a "correction" in 1944 which greatly improved cruise fuel efficiency. To add to the realism, also included are AI aircraft (Zeros, Bettys, SBDs and C-47s) from CFS2. New airports, scenery, and extensive scenario documentation to help the simulator pilot successfully "intercept" and "shoot down" the Admiral's Mitsubishi G4M 'Betty' are provided by experienced real world fighter pilot and Adversary Instructor Jim Daigneau, who also provided overall technical support and mission testing. David C. Copley's outstanding P-38G has been modified as described above and is included, with his permission.

PAC Airtrainer CT4

File Description:
Re-upload. PAC Airtrainer CT4 Primary trainer aircraft. PAC (Pacific Aerospace Corporation) is a New Zealand company constructing these military trainers based on the Australian Victa Aircruiser private aircraft. The CT4 is used by New Zealand, Australian and Thailand air forces. While it has been made for AI purposes it is actually a pleasant aircraft to fly so if you install a panel (or link to one) you should gain some flying pleasure from it. This has been modelled with Gmax v1.2 using a mininum number of polygons (1820 for the main model), and has animated ailerons, flaps, elevators and rudder. It has 4 LOD models and a single texture set and is extremely frame rate friendly. You can also substitute your own photo for the pilot. It is designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population and to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic program by Markus Brunner . Two textures (Royal New Zealand Air Force Red Checkers, and Thai Air Force) and a paintkit are included. Aircraft and textures by Mike Cronin
