| Frozen rivers and lakes (and sea) for Alaska's winter |

File Description:
This "freezes" all lakes and rivers (and some sea) for winter flying and means they can be landed on with skis or wheels; it is meant for low level flying rather than high level jet flights. This edition covers all of Alaska, except for the Aleutian Islands, as the worst area to do this for is a string of islands. Terrible. Fiddly. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the larger inlets along the southern coast do not get frozen too as they stay ice-free in winter. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but anything else would be ...... fiddly. This is really for use with Ultimate Terrain, though it will work without it. But as UT is what gets all the lakes and rivers there and in the right place it would be a shame not to be using UT. There is a blurry transition between southern Alaska and Canada so you may need the recent Canada post too.

| Navigation Scenery Update - KCLE and KDTW Cleveland and Detroit |

File Description:
Several of the KCLE and KDTW airport procedures (SIDs and STARs) were changed as of 08 June 2006. There are also new procedures in place that contain fixes that are not included in the default Flight Simulator scenery. This BGL scenery contains all necessary navigation data to add to Flight Simulator for these new waypoint fixes, so that you can navigate with FMS or GPS any of the new KCLE and KDTW SIDs or STARs.
This is fully compatible with FS9 (FS2004), although it may or may not be compatible with FS2002.

KOAK represents a modification to the default FSX scenery. Some of the changes include: All new ILS and RNAV(GPS) approaches with transitions and missed approaches for Rwys 11, 27R and 29 per 2009 plates. All new IAPs and updated RNAV(GPS) approaches per 2009 plates for all other Rwys. New extension to Terminal 2 with 7 new gates and relocated south Control Tower. Custom AI Terminal assignments per 2009 Terminal Map. Reworked landclass around the airport per google earth, plus addition of some airport facilities and spot lighting. A hand made shaving work over the TropicalSim-Cancun 2010 scenery for FS2004. This package contains these enhancements: New and improved terrain imagery with night textures, corrected runway headers for 12L/30R and 12R/30L, get rid of the default airport background image polygon, enchanced AFCAD which also includes the new ILS for runway 12L and the new VOR 'Nichupte', enchanced landclass and waterclass, added also windsocks, taxi signs, VOR and ILS antennas, a very realistic Cancun's peninsula, naval traffic* and additional enhancements for Lago FSE users*. Main requirement to install this patch: FS2004 (FS9.1) and TropicalSim MMUN 2010.

Richard Pearse Airport, Timaru, is a regional airport servicing the South Canterbury area. This scenery includes an accurate model of the airport. It is part of the Vector Land Class series of airfields, although you can use it with the default FSX, or any other landclass base such as FTX NZSI. It requires the VectorLandClass Libraries, not included, see the manual for details.
