AVSIM 2006 Convention B787 Aircraft

File Description:
This aircraft and texture set is for fun flying. It sports a very unique AVSIM Convention 2006 livery as the specific mascot for the AVSIM Convention in Washington DC in September 2006. Visually a pleasure to fly and has a rather interesting Night Texture effect which should add to your flying pleasure. Be sure to also get the A380 Generic AVSIM Convention aircraft that is available in the AVSIM library. Russian Air Force Yak-52 (with large nose cone)

File Description:
This aircraft has been made primarily for AI purposes but actually also flies well as an ordinary aircraft. Ray Blake persuaded me to create two additional models for the Yak52 (4_GA_Yak52.zip uploaded in March 2008) which display a large nose cone with the existing two-blade prop, or the large nose cone and a three-blade prop. He kindly provided four new textures to accompany these two new models. You can either just load the whole new set into your existing FS9 aircraft folders and it will display as a single incorporated set of Yak52 aircraft, or if you want to merge the new models and textures into the Yak52 folder, an illustration of the folder arrangement is included for your guidance. The same paintkit (paintkit_4_ga_yak52.zip) is used for any of these models.

Hiller YH-32 Hornet

File Description:
The Hiller YH-32 Hornet (company designation HJ-1) was an American ultralight helicopter built by Hiller Aircraft in the early 1950s. It was a small and unique design because it was powered by two Hiller 8RJ2B ramjet engines mounted on the rotor blade tips. Versions of the HJ-1 Hornet were built for the United States Army and the United States Navy in the early 1950s. VTBD 1961 Bangkok Intl. Don Muang

File Description:
The airport was officially opened as a Royal Thai Air Force base on March 27, 1914, although it had been in use earlier. Commercial service to Don Mueang began in 1924. The first commercial flight was an arrival by KLM. The airfield was used by the Japanese during World War II, and was bombed and strafed by Allied aircraft on several occasions. During the Vietnam War, Don Muang Royal Thai Air Force Base was a major command and logistics hub of the United States Air Force.

Piper PA34 Seneca

File Description:
The Piper PA34 Seneca is a six passenger light transport and trainer was first introduced in 1971. It has twin turbo-supercharged Continental engines. This aircraft has been made with GMax, primarily for AI purposes but actually also flies well as an ordinary aircraft. It has 6 LODs with only 2564 polygons (triangles) for the main model. I am indebted to Ray Blake who has made all the textures (seven) for this package. A separate paintkit is being posted to Avsim.
