1945 - Harry Levy's Flight - Oban, Scotland to Dar-es-Salaam, Tanganyika in an RAF Sunderland MkV

File Description:
At 1805 hours GMT on April 2nd. 1945 an RAF Short Sunderland Mk.V took off from the waters of the flying boat base near Oban, in Scotland. With the war in Europe nearly over, men and materiel were being transferred to the Far East, where Japan continued to defend its home islands with great ferocity and determination. The ten-man crew of the Sunderland included young Harry Levy, the navigator. Harry, now a resident of Canberra, Australia, was a Sergeant in the RAAF attached to an RAF aircrew and was being transferred to Dar-es-Salaam to join 259 Squadron, RAF. Their trip was to take them some 6000 nautical miles, over a period of 20 days (with a lot of that being spent in Gibraltar whilst engine repairs were carried out) and with more than 48 hours spent aloft. They departed Britain in the springtime and arrived in east Africa in autumn. This is the FS9 recreation of that journey.

FDE PSS A320 LIP v1.6 (Improved A-FLOOR protection)

File Description:
A320 IAE V2500-A5@27000Lbs With LIP v1.6 (Lift Improvement Package) by Alan Fernandes and improved A-FLOOR protection by Edson Costa. Application of LIP on A320-IAE has been developped with the main objective to improve landing performance at SDU (PR-MAG and PR-MAK). LIP allows to reduce the approach speed by 6-7 kt for operational landing weights. Note: Preliminary estimate of the speed benefit was around 4kt. Five structural modifications have been introduced to change the aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft: 3 modifications on the wing leading edge, 1 modification on the engine nacelle (not modeled) and 1 modification on the wing trailing edge. Bavaria Flug BAC One-Eleven 500 V1.1

File Description:
Germany's Bavaria Flug had a bit of a love affair with British aircraft in the swinging sixties, following up a buy of Handley Page Heralds with a brace of BAC One-Eleven 400s. A little while later, the carrier bought a smattering of 1-11 500s to round their fleet out. Bavaria referred to the stretched 1-11s as "Super One-Elevens" in the company's marketing, and labelled the planes that way. These textures rely upon 32-bit format on the fuselage, vertical stabiliser and engines, with DXT3s for the rest of the aircraft and require the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby's DM Flight Sim (available at http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk).

Bavaria Flug BAC One-Eleven 400

File Description:
Headquartered in the southern portion of Germany, Bavaria Flug went shopping for British aircraft in the late 1960s, ordering BAC One-Eleven 400s to anchor the carrier's fleet. The 1-11 in this package (D-ALLI/construction number 116) was one of the first delvered to the West German airline. Bavaria was so pleased with the performance and economies of the One-Eleven they went back to BAC for a scond order, this time opting for 1-11 500s. Fuselage, engines and tail are 32-bit textures with DXT3s used for the rest to keep frame rates up. Requires the base 1-11 400 model from DM Flight Sim (http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk).

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 747-400 Old Colours Fix

This update is intended for my KLM OC release for the PMDG 747. You will still need my original release, only two files will be modified. Updates include but are not limited to: - Colours were far to dark and unrealistic, now corrected with colour sampling from photographs. - Windows configuration is now true to the real PH-BFV - KLM Logo on nose has been resized - Stripes along entire fuselage have been moved and resized with reference to photographs of the real PH-BFV - Added more dirt and scaled Seam lines - General sharpening and quality improvement
