| American Airlines "US Airways" Airbus A321 (N578UW) |

Continuing the US Airways-inspired theme of heritage aircraft, American Airlines has introduced a "retro" US Airways painted A321. This aircraft, N578UW, was delivered in April 2014. It was the last aircraft to be delivered in the US Airways livery, but instead wears "American" titles, similar to the other retro-painted aircraft. This will eventually be the only aircraft retaining the US Airways livery as the merger with American progresses. A second repaint is also included of the normal US Airways scheme just before the merger. Textures only for the great Project Airbus model; the base pack is available here on AVSIM: pa321_basepack_fs9_2014-09-28.zip Enjoy!

American Eagle is the new brand name for all regional airlines operating for American. PSA Airlines, a former US Airways Express carrier, was selected to receive 30 new Bombardier CRJ-900 NextGen aircraft, with the first delivery in June of 2014. This was also the first PSA aircraft to wear the new American livery. Painted on the great Project Opensky model. Enjoy!

On February 14th 2020, Delta unveiled N391DN, an aircraft dedicated to its 90,000 employees, whose individual names form the red “thank you†titles on the aircraft livery. The paint process – which involved 48 custom decal panels – took more than a week to complete at the Delta TechOps print shop and hangar in Atlanta. February 14th is the company's annual profit sharing day, where in 2020 Delta paid out $1.6 billion in bonuses to its employees.
