File Description:
Add-on meshes can greatly improve the detail of the FS terrain but often conflict with the inaccurate placement of the other default FS landscape elements, particularly in coastal and mountainous areas. This project showcases new methods and software that allow for semi-automated development of FS landscapes from accurate source data. The files completely replace the default FS landscape of Southeast Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park and the adjacent Lynn Canal area between Juneau and Skagway (N58-60 W134-138), including shorelines, islands, and lakes, as well as glaciers, landclass, man-made features, and a LOD9 (76-m) terrain mesh. Optional AI floatplane traffic at four seaplane bases is included. A LOD10 (38-m) mesh of the same area is available as a separate optional download. FS2002 users please use fs8glbay.zip instead.

| Bettles PABT in Alaska |

File Description:
Bettles is around 175 miles north of Fairbanks in ALaska, and 25 miles north of the Arctic Circle. It is also where James "Andy" Andersen started flying for Wien Airlines and where he spent the 20 years between 1947 and 1967. Read "Arctic Bush Pilot" by Andy and Jim Rearden for his story of those 20 years flying the bush. Bettles PABT is the gravel strip and due to the limitations of FS9 AI the float base on the adjacent river has to be separately named PABX. Bettles village (old Bettles) used to be 2 miles southwest of the field, but has now slowly relocated close to the strip. In this download there is an AFCAD folder, landclass folders, a scenery folder, and a traffic folder. You will need Ultimate Terrain Alaska Canada.

| Terrain Mesh of Glacier National Park |

File Description:
New and updated scenery enhancements for the mountain ranges of southeastern British Columbia and parts of the Alberta Rocky Mountains. They require an existing installation of my files bcmesh9d.zip and/or bcmesh9e.zip. Scenery coverage follows the Trans-Canada Highway from Banff National Park to west of Revelstoke (~350km), with accurate transportation network, rivers and lakes, hydro dams, ski hills, glaciers, and landclass/waterclass updates based on satellite imagery. Also, similar enhancements to the parks and towns of the southern Kootenay, Selkirk, and Monashee mountains. The mesh source data are 0.75-arcsec (~23-m) CDED files, compiled at LOD10 (38-m) resolution. Due to significant changes in FS2004 to vector layering and autogen features, the special scenery enhancements cannot be used with FS2002. However, terrain mesh, new lakes and land/waterclass replacements will work well in FS2002.

| FSX British Columbia Airfields 1-3 For Default Scenery |

File Description:
60 British Columbia airfields/seaplane bases with surrounding scenery like lakes, landclass etc.. These sceneries are for the FSX default scenery, i.e. a scenery that does not have enhancements like Ultimate Terrain or ORBX which correct or add e.g. lakes, towns etc.
However, I do use additional freeware mesh sceneries, which are the "FSX Canada 19M Terrain Mesh" parts 1 and 2 by Raimundo Taburet (LOD 11) and the North America/Canada mesh from "FreeMesh X Global 1.0" (LOD 10). But in principle my sceneries should work with any mesh.
All files are named by their ICAO ID, so you can easlily remove any airfiled that you don't need or don't like.

LFTZ - La Môle is the small international airport of the famous city Saint-Tropez in the south of France near Nice (LFMN).
Its runway is 1162m (3812ft) long. This airport is ideal for light aircrafts, private jets ... Even the Q400s of Baboo came from Geneva.
It's a simple scenery done in three months, I hope you will enjoy it! :)

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data file for WIKK Depati Amir in Indonesia, based on
Google Earth satellite data.
Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided very limited facilities at this
small Indonesian domestic airport, served by about four flights a
day by airlines such as Adam Air, Batavia Air and Merpati Nusentara, with
jets and smaller craft. This upgrade redresses the subject by supplementing
the GA parking with gates so that you, and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi,
park and take off realistically.
Whilst this file improves the layout of the airport, it is not a full
scenery upgrade and does not attempt correct building locations,
landclass, taxiway signs or those stupid over-sized filling stations
that Microsoft loves to put in annoying places. Regrettably the satellite
data currently available is not of sufficient quality to do so.

Addon scenery project for City of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, for FS2004. This is a FREEWARE project, created by Brian Sturton, and with special thanks to Joel Gill and Her Majesty the Queen for the included rail.bgl file. Transforms the generic dull scenery around CYXD airport, into a detailed replica of the actual city. Features include a detailed representation of the downtown area, along with most other major structures that would be visible from the air; reflective "glass" buildings; more accurate rendition of West Edmonton Mall (compared to my earlier offering); reworked landclass and elevation values, which permit a nicer rendition of the river valley, as well as the urban areas south of the river; repositioned river sections; bridges; refineries to the east of the city; outlying towns; major roads, and modifications to CYEG and CYYC.

This is Mogadishu International Airport in Somalia. Made from custom created models and textures. It has a photoreal base that changes with the seasons. Completely re designed for FSX with a new AFCAD file,new coastline,roads and landclass. It is a unforgiving country ravished by war. We added some easter eggs in the form of 2 downed Blackhawks in the exact spot that the real Blackhawks went down. See if you can find them. We also added the Olympic hotel with a hard roof for you to land on. The harbour was also modeled and included. FSX Acceleration will give the best results.(Also SP2 compatable). Airport details: The scenery represents FA08 Polk City, the private airport housing the "Fantasy of Flight - World's Greatest Aircraft Collection". The collection is owned by the legendary Kermit Weeks and includes over 40 rare and vintage arcraft, many of them restored to flying condition. The scenery includes 32 custom built objects in an effort to represent the actual buildings and objects around the field as best as possible. Nearly everything is included except the "Wing Walk Air" attraction. The surrounding grounds are made by landclass polygons. trying to represent the vegetation. A photoreal version might be made in the future.
