KOMO TV 4, the ABC affiliate in Seattle, Washington and consistently known as the best television station in America for 21 years running - and best newscast in America for 20 years in a row, operated this Bell JetRanger known as "Air4." The helicopter was an early Bell 206BIII, and bore the same rainbow-like paint scheme for nearly two decades. This paint scheme was also used on several of their ENG satellite news trucks - each one with the name "Newstar4." Unfortunately, this helicopter was retired in December of 1997 and replaced with a brand-new Bell 407 bearing an all-new black and blue metallic paint scheme featuring a gold "4" and green pinstripes. Air4 is piloted by veteran KOMO pilot Roger Fox, and this version of Air4 had no chin camera apparatus (there was always a photographer and reporter aboard incase of breaking news)It is not known where this helicopter is, nor what her N-Number was at the time. This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I've made several changes to the airport which are listed below. All these enchancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in the sunny Dominican Republic!

File Description:
I've produced this scenery to provide all of the Ocean Stations I know about in the 1950's and 1960's. There is a ship on station (painted in the colors of the USA, UK, France, Norway, and Japan), an NDB to give you a bearing to the ship, a way to contact the ship using voice (you can get your position relative to the ship this way), and a DME for distances further than the limited 30 NM FS ATC gives you (normal communications would reach about 100 NM). You can also get a weather report, and if you are a seaplane you can be cleared to land. If you are a landplane, I guess this would constitute permission to ditch...
I want to give a big thank you to Mitsuya Hamaguchi (hama) for graciously supplying the ship used in this scenery.
This version uses AI ships and is NOT COMPATIBLE with multiplayer - use OceanStationsMP.zip instead

File Description:
Jersey Airport (EGJJ) is located on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. I live on the island, so this is a pretty accurate representation of the airport. Features include many parkable hangars, accurate control tower, accurate departure lounge, accurate gates, accurate aero club, many static aircraft, many vehicles, car parks, freight terminal, private aviation terminal, fuel farm, fire-station, surrounding trees, perimeter fencing and more. Many night textures and custom AFCAD file included. The airport is at N49 12 28 and W002 11 43. This scenery is for FSX but should also work under FS2004. It may even work in earlier versions of FS but this is untested. This scenery is dedicated to my father who was a pilot in the Royal Air Force and subsequently worked as an Air Traffic Controller at the airport for over 20 years. He sparked my interest in aviation in the first place and since the original airport was released, he has passed away. He's sorely missed.

FSX Scenery - Monterey Regional Airport (IATA: MRY, ICAO: KMRY, FAA LID: MRY) is three miles (5 km) southeast of Monterey, in Monterey County, California, USA. It was created in 1936 and was known as the Monterey Peninsula Airport until the board of directors renamed it on September 14, 2011. The airport is owned by the several municipalities that make up the Monterey Peninsula Airport District. It is a public entity and its five-member board of directors is publicly elected. The airport has its origins with flights from the polo field of the Hotel Del Monte in 1910. In 1941, local communities formed the Monterey Peninsula Airport District and acquired land to build an airport. World War II intervened, and the U.S. Navy leased the land, opening Naval Auxiliary Air Station Monterey on May 23, 1943. The Navy remained at the airport until 1972. FS2004 scenery for RAF Greenham Common by Brian Clarke.The scenery uses objects from various scenery libraries, listed in the readme. I have also included some flightplans for C-130's, C-5's and C-141's to fly in and out of the base. These will also require separate downloads.
RAF Greenham Common is a former Royal Air Force station in Berkshire, England. The airfield is located to the south-east of Newbury, Berkshire, about 50 miles (80 km) west of London. Opened in 1942, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War and the United States Air Force during the Cold War. After the Cold War ended, it was closed in 1993. The airfield was also known for the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp held outside its gates in the 1980s.
In 1997 Greenham Common was designated as public parkland.

File Description:
FS Recorder is an add-on module available for FS2004 and FSX. It allows recording and playback of flights, similar as the instant replay and video recorder built into FS, but with a lot more features. The recorded flights can be played back either using the user's aircraft or as AI traffic, which allows you to fly formations with yourself. A number of settings allow to customize FS Recorder to your needs. The recorded flights are saved in a binary file format containing flight data and can thus only be played back inside FS. These files are no video files, so it is NOT possible to play them with a video or media player, or to convert them into video files.

This scenery includes a global review of the previous Sceneries of Cameri Military airport (rev.2 Oct 2011), Cameri Museum (rev. 2 Oct 2011), Cameri Babini (rev. 2 oct 2011), Turbigo power station (rev. 2 Sep 2011 and update rev. 2.1 Oct 2014). All the above ARE NOW INCLUDED in this new unique scenery. Contents: Terrain in new version photo-realistic multi-seasons/night; adapted to Western Europe special elevation meshes; cover area of over 120 sqkm from Bellinzago-Oleggio (NW) to Magnago-Bienate (NE), from Novara (SW) to Cuggiono-Inveruno (SE); all the terrain has been restorated with 3D buildings, either through autogen that with specific dedicated objects (by GMax) and with significant addition of library objects ("dva51" and other existings). This scenery (located on the final approach to the Milan Malpensa international airport) includes the Cameri's Mil Airport with the Babini closed Army area and the planes of the Historical Museum of the airport; it is also included the thermoelectric power station of Turbigo. All the buildings are placed to recreate cities and villages covered in the photo-realistic terrain, including Bellinzago, Bienate, Buscate, Caltignaga, Cameri, Castano Primo, Castelletto Ticino, Cuggiono, Galliate, Inveruno, Magnago, Malvaglio, Nibbia, Novara, Oleggio, Pernate, Robecchetto, Romentino, Sant'Anna, San Pietro Mosezzo, Turbigo , Vanzaghello, and the covered Turin-Milan highway.
Details of the new buildings for the care and maintenance to F35 completely recreated, as obtainable from the current satellite view.

RAF Aldermaston (ICAO X2AM) is a former Royal Air Force station located 8 miles (13 km) east of Newbury, Berkshire and 9.8 miles (15.8 km) southwest of Reading, Berkshire, England.
Originally built as an RAF Bomber Command airfield during 1941-1942, Aldermaston was transferred to the United States Army Air Forces in August 1942.
Placed under the jurisdiction of Eighth Air Force, it was home to several Douglas C-47 Skytrain Troop Carrier Groups. It was transferred to Ninth Air Force in 1943 primarily as a Troop Carrier Command base. Returned to RAF Control at the end of 1945, it was used by Technical Training Command before being placed on Care and Maintenance. In 1946, it was transferred to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and used by BOAC aircraft for training.
Also used by the Ministry of Aircraft Production for Supermarine Spitfire assembly and flight testing, the airfield closed in 1950 and the site became home of the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment (later the Atomic Weapons Establishment) from 1950.
