FS2004 Channel Express Lockheed L-188 Electra Download

File Description:
Textures for Libardo Guzman's Electra model. L-188C Electra c/n 1075 original 1959 delivered to Eastern AL, after service with Falcon Air, Balair, Air Holiday, Air Florida, McCulloch AL, MCA, Southeast AL 1978 converted to L-188CF freighter and then in service with Hawaiian Cargo and Zantop in 1991 sold to Channel Express as G-OFRT wfu 2001 Aircraft can be found at: https://simviation.com/1/download-file?file=1-ELECTRA.zip&fileId=48728 Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model! I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not. Repaint by Manfred Meyer

Biggs Field KBIF Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This AI-Package contains several beautiful airplanes: Boeing: B-52H, C-17 Globemaster, E-3A NATO and F-18E Super-Hornet, British Aerospace: Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon and Hawk MkT1, Hamburger Flugzeugbau: C-160 Transall, Lockheed: C-5A Galaxy, C-130 Hercules and F-117 Stealth, and last not least Lockheed-Martin: F-16C Falcon. These aircraft perform "Touch and Goes" in the local traffic pattern at Biggs-Field per attached flight plan in order to get prepared for the upcoming Biggs-Field Airshow. All the attached outstanding airplanes have been created by well known designers (see briefing). My part was just to prepare them in order to work in an artificial intelligent (AI) environment as good as possible. The excellent El-Paso scenery "elp_photo.zip" from Kevin Burns, available here at the Avsim library, is required to enjoy this package!

Mitsubishi F-2A (Beta Model, Version 2) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
F-2A is a Japanese fighter aircraft and it has been developed with the United States based on the General Dynamics (post 1993, Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon. Its blue oceanic flight livery is referred to as "The most beautiful camouflage livery of the world". Its three divited canopy and big-wide wing is the most different part between the F-2 and F-16. This model is only for FS9, you can't use it with FSX. By Team FS KBT.

The Mitsubishi F-2 Fighter is manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Lockheed Martin for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, with a 60/40 split in manufacturing between Japan and the USA.

Some differences between the F-2 and the F-16A:
* a 25% larger wing area
* composite materials used to reduce overall weight and radar signature
* longer and wider nose to accommodate a phased-array radar
* larger tailplane
* larger air intake
* three-piece cockpit canopy
* capabilities for four ASM-1 or ASM-2 anti-ship missiles, four AAMs, and additional fuel tanks

Greece Airforce McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 E/F Phantom 2 is a two-seat, twin-engined, all-weather, long-range supersonic fighter-bomber originally developed for the U.S. Navy by McDonnell Aircraft. Proving highly adaptable, it became a major part of the air wings of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. It was used extensively by all three of these services during the Vietnam War, serving as the principal air superiority fighter for both the Navy and Air Force, as well as being important in the ground-attack and reconnaissance roles by the close of U.S. involvement in the war. First entering service in 1960, the Phantom continued to form a major part of U.S. military air power throughout the 1970s and 1980s, being gradually replaced by more modern aircraft such as the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon in the U.S. Air Force and the F-14 Tomcat and F/A-18 Hornet in the U.S. Navy. It remained in service in the reconnaissance and Wild Weasel roles in the 1991 Gulf War, finally leaving service in 1996. Phantoms remain in front line service with seven countries, and in use as an unmanned target in the U.S. Air Force. Phantom production ran from 1958 to 1981, with a total of 5195 built. This extensive run makes it the second most-produced Western jet fighter, behind the famous F-86 Sabre at just under 10,000 examples. FS2004/FSX/P3D Fred Olsen C-46 1970 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the C-46 in Fred Olsen Lines 1970 colors. The freeware C-46 by Libardo Guzman and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. The famous Norwegian shipping magnate; Fred Olsen, formed his new airline "Fred Olsen’s Flyselskap" in June 1946. It was a nonscheduled carrier, which offered aircraft leasing, passenger and cargo charters, calibration flights, and contract service flights. They started with DC-3s and in 1958 five C-46s joined the fleet. Also, many of the company’s services were undertaken under contract to SAS, the national carrier of the Scandinavian countries. Fred Olsen Lines was focused mainly on cargo flights, and in 1965 their fleet had three C-46s and one DC-6A/B. Two more DC-6s were added to the fleet during 1966-67, followed by a Convair CV-340 in 1968. In 1969 Fred Olsen Lines' emphasis was to offer executive passenger charter services with their new Falcon executive jets. However, this special service did not work for the company, and in 1972 Olsen sold the two Falcons to the Royal Norwegian Air Force. So, the focus was back to Cargo, and in 1974 The first of many L-188Cs joined the fleet. The 1970s and 1980s were quite good for the ailrine and by 1986 the emphasis was shifted entirely to cargo charters. In 1997 Fred Olsen's airline ceased operations.The reasons offered were the loss of maintenance contracts, and difficulties in making a profit in the Central European freight market. This repaint is of C-46 LN-FOR, one of three C-46s operated by Fred Olsen. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. Textures are 32bit bmp. It should work on FSX, P3D v1-3, & FS2004.
