| North Manitoba Airfields 20# in Canada |

These are 20 airfields in north Manitoba, Canada. They were all previously posted individually But not on Avsim. There is a screenshot of Google Earth showing their names and locations amid other airfields. "Lodge" indicates the fact that there is a fishing lodge and airfield at that location but that I have no information to enable me to make the scenery. There are also some airfields that I downloaded years ago and are part of my FS9 set up, such as Flin Flon. There is AI with the supply flights that are vital for these isolated outposts. Gillam is a northern airfield that is connected to the rest of Canada by a railroad that continues north to Churchill Manitoba on the Hudson Bay coast and is used for grain exports during the ice-free summer months. A large number of the supply flights originate from Gillam. You may wonder about the numbers of fuel tanks at these airfields. These are not for the airfield use, they are for the settlement to be able to generate electricity and also to provide heating in the winter. Kuwaiti Air Force Dassault Mirage F.1K; for retro AI traffic. This package represents the original delivery batch of Mirage F.1s to Kuwait which served through the 1980s, until nearly decimated during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990. This package uses the Nick Black base model set, but these models have been modified by me from the FSDS source. I have added a few little things to create (nearly) the exact configuration of the aircraft as delivered. I have also made some tweaks to the model to make it a little more painter-friendly. And finally, I have created a host of new French ordnance for original loadouts. All models were compiled with Nick's XML programming in place, so all of his superb original animations are retained. The aircraft also uses unaltered, original FDE by Mike MacIntyre. This package has four main aircraft models, the Mirage F.1CK, Mirage F.1CK-2, Mirage F.1BK and Mirage F.1BK-2; and includes 33 serials with many loadout options. The included readme file includes instructions, notes, disclaimers, credits, and anything else I can think of. Original aircraft and source by Nick Black, FDE by Mike MacIntyre, mind control and outstanding guidance by Frank Safranek, model modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.

Qatari Air Force Dassault Mirage F.1DA; for retro AI traffic. This package represents the original delivery batch of Mirage F.1s to Qatar which served through the 1980s, until sold off to Spain in the mid-1990s. This package uses the Nick Black base model set, but these models have been modified by me from the FSDS source. Spanish Air Force Dassault Mirage F.1DA; for retro AI traffic. This package represents the sell-off batch of Mirage F.1s to Spain from Qatar in the mid-1990s, which served in Qatari colors until repainted later in the standard Spanish Air Force grey scheme. This package uses the Nick Black base model set, but these models have been modified by me from the FSDS source. I have added a few little things to create (nearly) the exact configuration of the aircraft as delivered. I have also made some tweaks to the model to make it a little more painter-friendly. And finally, I have created a host of new French ordnance for original loadouts. All models were compiled with Nick's XML programming in place, so all of his superb original animations are retained. Includes scenery for the 4 principal airports and the AUTEC facility at Andros, Bahamas. The
scenery includes custom scenery objects, placement of library objects and landclass changes.
Scenery is based on Google Earth, Bing Maps and photos taken locally, and it is optimized for use
with UTX-TAC. Western Air static aircraft included at MYAN are from a model by Mike Stone
(www.pmstone.com) painted by Christopher Russell. This aircraft (FS2004 Western Air Fairchild
SA227 - AC Metro III) can be downloaded from the Flightsim.com or AVSIM library for use with an
AI traffic file included in this package.

| FS2002 U.S. Army DeHavilland-Canada YAC-1 Caribou |

File Description:
Textures only for Mike Stone's DeHavilland-Canada DHC-4 or C-7 Caribou. The 'bou was designated AC-1 (YAC-1 for test aircraft) while being evaluated by the U.S. Army, but was procured as the CV-2 then redesignated again as the C-7. This YAC-1 wore a high-visibility arctic livery for cold weather testing. It was delivered without weather radar then had it retrofitted, so the textures are appropriate for both the radar-less DHC-4 or the radar-nosed C-7 versions of the model, and will work with either model.
