File Description: This is a complete and revised version of CCCOASTM.ZIP that was released on 3/31/04 and includes all subsequent revisions to CCCOASTM. It is compatible with and requires 38.2m LOD10 mesh terrain and has been tweaked to work better with, but doesn't require, USA Roads. Many other fixes, additions and improvements. Note: This is a re-upload of the file originally uploaded on December 18th 2004 that was corrupted by the Avsim Library hack.

Canadian Rockies LOD 8 Mesh

File Description:
As many of you know, NASA and the JPL have recently released 3 arc second (90 meter) elevation data for most of North America. The enclosed bgl file is intended to display the data more or less as it is, covering the Canadian Rocky Mountain National Parks. Many people are probably curious about the new data, and this project has been an attempt to satisfy that curiosity in a spectacular area so far unpublished on the internet. The data yields scenery in FS 2002 that far surpasses the default scenery. The area is also well visited by many people from around the world so I expect that this terrain will be recognizable to more than a few.

Canaima National Park Mesh Scenery

File Description:
Covers over 3 million hectares in south-eastern Venezuela. Roughly 65% of the park is covered by table mountain (tepui) formations. Include Angel Falls, the world's tallest waterfall (1000 m). Made from GOTOPO30 DEM using Microsoft Terrain SDK Tools, with a resolution of 3,75 arc sec using graphical interpolation techniques. Also works great in FS2002. By David Maldonado - September, 2003
