File Description:
By 1998, Aloha Air was down to operating 737-200s, having ditched the 737-300s and 737-400s that they flew earlier in the 1990s. The 737-200 would remain the mainstay of the inter-island fleet until the shutdown in 2007. Impressively, every one of the airlines' high frequency routes was daily. The arrival of the 737-700s and flying to the mainland USA would come a little later. The airline would eventually fail in 2008, after a hike in fuel prices and competition from Mesa Air Group's iflyGo! forced the airline into hardship. In it's history, Aloha opearted 63 different 737-200s. Some of them lived on as the company re-organized into the much smalled "Aloha Air Cargo" which is around today. The 1994-2008 livery on the FAIB 737-200 by ImpulseAI may be found on Avsim as "ai_aloha_airlines_faib_b732_oc.zip".Flightplans by Chasen Richardson as part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. N127UA was the first 747 to be painted into the new United merger livery. However this is not the first time a 747 wore this livery; Continental had a few classic 747s painted into their "new" livery in 1991. United's 747s mainly fly long-haul international routes to Asia, with an occasional route to Europe. Painted on the great Project Opensky model. Enjoy!

Unpack this file and import it into PlanG. For further instructions see the included "readme". This file is an update for "_plang_data_files_orbx_north_america.zip" available here.

-copy and paste the text below into your aircraft.cfg remembering to change the "fltsim.xx" to the number after the livery before.

Retro Repaint by Alexandre Alves for your traffic. The FAIB Boeing 737-200 in VASP colors with PP-SFI registration. This aircraft is preserved on Araraquara city into private house and availble for tour and events beside the 737-200F PP-SMW. -SFI is the last VASP aircraft into airworthness condition but never back to operation since the traditional brazilian airline ceased operations.

CV-240-0, reg.-id. N51331, cn 76, in colors of 1973, delivered on June 30, 1948 to American Airlines, reg.id N94238, named "Flagship Little Rock", later "Flagship Erie". Served for several operators until bought by Cordova Airlines on June 15, 1965. Cordova Airways was merged with Alaska Airlines on February 1, 1968. Bought by Pacific Nevada Airl. on January 30, 1973. Returned to Alaska Airlines in May 1973. Bought by Byco Air Services on November 30, 1973. Bought by Pacific Airl. on April 9, 1975. Repossessed by Crocker National Bank on January 1976, withdrawn from use and stored at Long Beach, California, finally broken up.
