Focke Wulf FW 200 "Condor"Flights

File Description:
When Deutsche Lufthansa signed the contract to develop the prototype of the FW200 Condor on 16 July 1936, Focke Wulf's top designer Kurt Tank bet two cases of champaign to have the prototype flying within twelve months. He lost by 11 days: the first flight of the FW200 took place on 27 July 1937! After extensive testing it was decided to demonstrate the plane's capacities and to raise publicity with a number of spectacular long-distance flights from Berlin to Cairo, to Tokyo, to New York and to Rio de Janeiro.

1935 - PAA S-42 - Miami to Rio de Janiero

File Description:
This FS2004 (FS9) flight replicates the route operated by Pan American Airways in 1935 between Miami and Rio de Janeiro. This was the flying equivalent of cruising aboard ship (albeit shorter), taking nine days to complete the trip, with overnight stops at selected hotels - or "modern airway inns", as PAA termed them. The aircraft used on this journey was the new Sikorsky S-42 - at time of completion it was the worlds biggest flying-boat. (A new FS9 model of the Sikorsky S-42 is available at www.flightsim.com. File Description:
This replaces the default AFCAD for Rio Gallegos - SAWG airport in Argentina. I've gone through all the main Argentine airports in FSX and fixed many things including, runway length, width, added missing markers, runway lights, PAPIs, terminal, jetways, comm freqs, etc. Couple of exceptions are Aeroparque and Ezeiza since they already have good AFCADS. Many of the default AFCADs are completely wrong so I went through all of them and fixed them. I used the latest Jeppesen charts and satellite imagery for reference. I'm going to release these files individually and all together in one big Argentina AFCAD pack.
