Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - An INDEX. This is an index in Excel format (xls) of the popular Tips and Tricks series compiled by David "Opa" Marshall, parts 1 thru 11. The index may be "searched" and "sorted" to display the information you desire. A short guide in .doc format is included to assist those who may not be familiar with Excel. Requires Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet program), which is a part of the Microsoft Office Suite. When the Tips and Tricks series resumes in the Fall of 2005, we anticipate including an updated copy of this Index with each issue. | FSX/FS2004 USAF C-133A Cargomaster 540136 |

This is a repaint of the Douglas C-133A Cargomaster in the USAF scheme. The freeware Douglas C-133 Cargomaster by Tim Conrad is needed for this repaint - link provided. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & FS2004. Textures for FS2004 users are included. Textures are 32bit DDS & DXT3 BMP. C-133A 54-0136 was assigned to the 1607th Air Transport Wing. It was with the Douglas Aircraft Company from June 1956 to August 1961. It was displayed at Edwards AFB US Armed Forces Day Open House in 1959 (see included photo). Then onto Ellington AFB in October 1962. After that, it was assigned to NASA as 928 from October 1962 to August 19, 1969, and modified for Apollo command module test drops. A total of 46 drops were made. It was repaired at TEMCO, Dallas, TX from August to October 1966, before being transferred to the 60th Military Airlift Wing at Travis AFB, California. After a satisfactory service record, it was sent to the boneyard, MASDC Arizona as CU030 on Jul 21, 1971, and was declared excess on September 7, 1971.

File Description:
The airline was formed in 1948 to undertake freight and passenger charters from Liverpool (Speke) Airport. It also provided joyriding flights in a fleet of twin-engined Avro Anson aircraft. The airline acquired a number of Douglas DC-3s in the early fifties to operate seasonal tourist charters and built-up a network of scheduled services from Liverpool including flights to continental European destinations (Lourdes, Biarritz). In 1957 the airline purchased the larger four-engined Douglas DC-4 with another example purchased in 1958. The first DC-4 charter was flown on 8 January, 1958 between Liverpool and Southend with football supporters. In 1959 the airline introduced the turbo-prop Vickers Viscount aircraft for use on inclusive tour flights. In November 1963 Starways signed a co-operation agreement with British Eagle International Airlines. Operations continued unchanged though, running schedules from Liverpool to Glasgow and Heathrow. However, on 31st December 1963 Starways ceased operating and on 1st January 1964 British Eagle took over all the former Starways routes. The directors of Starways retained the aircraft and formed a separate company named Aviation Overhauls and then either sold or leased the aircraft to other operators. Requires the default Douglas DC-3.

This is Matsakoni Airlines Virtual MAV(www.matsakoni.gr) fictional texture for the eurowings pro BAe146-300 addon. Based on standard colours of MAV aircrafts. Matsakoni Airlines was founded in early 2002 and its HQ¢s is based on Ioannis Kapodistrias Int airport (LGKR), Corfu island. Affiliates and hubs on other major Greek and European cities are planned for the fiscal year 2008. Eletherios Venizelos Athinai Int airport (LGAV) is MAV's hub since Aug'07. London Stansted (EGSS) is our new Hub in the U.K. A classic virtual operator connecting the Greek islands to major European and over Atlantic cities on a daily base with scheduled and non-scheduled flights. Matsakoni Airlines is operating, by order, the following aircraft types: Airbus A340/330, A306, Á319/2/1, Boeing B763, B747, B737, B727, BAe 146 and MD-11 for medium to long range flights. Matsakoni is servicing domestic flights and operates Fokker 100, ATR-72/500 and DH8C. We maintaining a fly-on-demand fleet, ranging from business jets like the ERJ-145 for V.I.P. and corporate flights, down to the Beechcraft BE-58 and Cessna 206/172 for a low-cost transport that meets your needs. For Traffic 2004. TAROM ATR42-500 YR-ATG(C/N 605)ex F-WWLG. TAROM((Transporturile Aeriene Romane) is the official airline of Romania. His fleet after the restructuration in the early 90´s is today composed with
6 ATR-42-300 and 9 B.737-300 and 700 series(models B.737-38J,B.737-78J and one B.737-36Q).All 707´s and soviet types are now stored and out of service.The two A310 are in reserve and also out of service or saled the fleet of ROMBAC 1-11(BAC 1-11 build under licence by Romaero.The ATR´s are the subtitute for the olds BAC 1-11 and medium soviet types.TAROM ATR42 served national destinations(Cluj,Constanta,Tirgu Mures,Timisoara,Satu Mare,Oradea,Iasi,etc)and some others Internationals like Athens,Thessaloniki and Chisinau.TAROM main hub is located at Bucarest Otopeni Intl airport.The plane is very practical for landings in short and few prepared runways and his consum of only 204 gal/hour play a important factor in the economical explotation of the type by TAROM. I have included a serie of 64 TAROM flights, all served with the B.737-300´s and ATR42-500´s.
Also included a new complete revised AirFile for the ATR42-500 type(23-04-04)with the right engine power, consum,weight parameters,fuel,aerodynamics,etc for a right ATR42-500 model.

File Description:
This is the first airport I created with the freeware Airport Design Editor X (v1.46.2) for FSX, constructed from the FSX buildings library. The surrounding scenery buildings are created based on photos taken from Google Maps and other sites about the Lhasa Gonggar Airport. The 9-27 runway and the navaids data (including ILS/DME 27 approach) were imported from one of Jan Martin's ZULS AFCAD's created for FS2004.

| 3 New Glass Cockpit Textures for Default Props |

File Description:
I have created three additional glass cockpit texture options for the FSX default Cessna C172, Baron 58 and Mooney Bravo. I have installed the glass cockpit to my favourite of the default FSX textures so I have an option of two different textures with glass cockpits per aircraft rather than just one. I hope you enjoy the additional textures;) All credit to Microsoft as I have simply edited their data.
