File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-117D by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-117D RP-C473 of Soriano Air Cargo of the Philippines, around 1991 (Ex-USAAF 42-23894, c/n 43327, USN BuNo 12443, Aero Union N5597T and Intercoastal Air Ways N873SN), It was later sold to Mabuhay Airlines, also in the Philippines. On 30 august 1999, it was to be flown to Manila for a lease to Crown Cargo Express when it struck power lines. The aircraft crashed into a rice field. Luckily none of the 9 people on board were injured, but the aircraft was a write-off. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the metal textures by Gman5250 and the blank textures by Manfred Jahn.

File Description:
Type: Douglas C-47A-30-DK. Registration: XY-ABF. Year built: 1944. Two Union of Burma C-47's collided on 22 February 1967, but both landed safely at Myitkyina (XY-ABF and XY-ACN). Burma names itself Myanmar today. But, Burma is however still named by the folk and some countries. After the renaming, Union of Burma airways became apportioned in Myanma airways (domestic) and Myanmar airways intl. The airline code of UB is used with domestic flights still today, with the international flights, the airline code was changed effective at the 22 April, 2002 from UB to 8M. Apart from the Hughes Air West livery this aircraft also has new cockpit views in both 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 resolutions.

This package is already contained in "F-16C_HAF_v1.zip" file (presenting a Hellenic Air Force F-16C Block 30 aircraft) can found in AvSim.com library, so if you already have dowloaded this package, you don't need this. It is fully compatible with FS2K2. A very completed user's manual (43 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat is only available in the full version including the aircraft as described before. Realistic radar & HUD gauges combatible with FS made by Eric Marciano.
