Aasiaat BGAA on the west coast of Greenland

File Description:
I wrote that Qikiqtarjuaq, on the east coast of Baffin Island, was the jumping off airfield for ferry flights for small planes from Canada to Europe via Greenland. Aasiaat is the airfield in Greenland that they jump to, 300 miles across the Davis Strait. The airfield is on the northern coast of Aasiaat Island, and the town of the same name is just two miles to the west. The runway is 2,600 feet of asphalt almost 100 feet wide and lit, at 74 feet ASL, aligned 12/30, with the apron and terminal building at the western end. Air Greenland run regular flights with a Dash-7 or 8, & Twin Otters, and the markings for the taxiway and parking spot in front of the terminal are exactly as they were six years ago. I have seen video since then that has further taxiway and parking spot markings added in, but I like the simplicity of the original. Unfortunately, given the limitations of FS and the single runway and simple taxiway routing there was no way to replicate both the parking facing away from the terminal AND the "through" taxiing to complete the circle back to the runway; after parking correctly the AI Air Greenland Dash-8 will reverse before heading out to take off. There is both JetA and 100LL fuel available. The surrounding area is rocky, and there is no grass around the runway; the airfield has compacted gravel instead.

Russia-Missing Fields Part 2

File Description:
Part 2 of missing, misplaced or "Runway only" airfields in the Russian Federation for Prepar3D version 3. Not tested in other versions!!! Only basic scenery made with ADE 1.7 with stock buildings and objects. All airfields have parking spots for AI aircraft. For correct use of the Terminal navaids you should have updated your stock navaids database. Read the textfile inside the zip for info about updating these navaids.

ESSA Stockholm Arlanda

File Description:
AFCAD file for Aerosoft's Mega Airport Stockholm Arlanda scenery for FS9. This file fixes a number of issues with the original. Gates and parking designations are now correct. Airlines assigned to their correct parking positions. All taxiways redone and assigned correctly. Cargo area now working correctly. GA parking added at the south of the terminal. Missing ILS nodes added plus many more fixes. Made using AFX by Flight 1.

Cancun International Airport (MMUN) - with new runway (update)

File Description:
This is an update to my AFCAD file for Cancun International Airport (MMUN) with new runway 12L-30R as of January 2010. This update fixes a number of items that were left out of my original file. All items mentioned in the MMUN2010.txt file that came with my original upload are included in this updated AFCAD file. In addition, I've added taxiway signs on taxiway D1 by terminal 2.

Honolulu International Airport, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii (PHNL) v2

File Description:
This file is an update only for Bill Melichar's beautiful add-on Scenery v5 (my previous version not required) the medium gates are now changed to Heavy and most of the small changed to medium with extra gates/parking with the main changes around the Interisland Terminal and the three helipads now have lighting, this version will not work with the default airport (fully tested with Ultimate Traffic but not required)

LGIR2004 Heraklion/N.Kazantzakis (Beta)

File Description:
Beta release of my upcomming LGIR scenery for FS2002/FS2004. Make sure you download the appropriate version for the respective FS version. The scenery is still under development but I feel it is now in a good state to be used, so I decided to release it with the work so far. Scenery includes realistic terminal, apron, custom runway, 3D taxi lights, night lighting, taxisigns and all the appropriate apron markings.

KPUB

File Description:
This is my first AFCAD, and I did it for KPUB in Pueblo, CO. I have added lots more GA parking spaces as well as the apron to the hanger, more terminal parking and assigned the parking spaces to the correct airlines. Also added the unused runway and added a few run-up areas as in real life. It works for FS2004, and is intended for add-on traffic.

Orlando - Sanford (KSFB) V2

File Description:
This is V2 of my Afcad file for Orlando - Sanford. Updates include changing the runway surfaces to concrete - as in real life, and expanding the east apron area to allow for improved taxiing and two extra heavy gates. This is as realistic as is possible given the extremely odd shaped default terminal building that has been used in FS9! As always thanks to Lee Swordy for the fantastic Afcad program.
