This package contains five liveries for the Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat, which you'll find in Milton Shupe & Team's FS2004 Grumman F7F-1, -3, -3N Series (f7ffs9.zip) package. These liveries are featuring four out of the six Tigercats which are currently registrated by the FAA as being airworthy. The original textures were made by Gordon "gman5250" Madison. The repaints are made by Maarten Brouwer.

| Dutch Navy Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon |

Featured is Royal Netherlands Navy 19-10, ex-US Navy BuNo 37260, Lockheed c/n 15-1226. VSQ320 at Valkenburg operated 18 PV-2s under MDAP (Mutual Defense Assistance Program) from September 1951 till December 1953, when they were replaced by Lockheed P2V-5 Neptunes. The Harpoons were not only used for maritime reconnaissance during their short career in Dutch service. Search and rescue was another main task, and particularly in February 1953 during the tidal flooding of the Southwest of the Netherlands they played a vital role in the rescue and supply operations (food for people and live stock, empty sandbags, etc.). 19-10 served from 29 September 1951 till 16 November 1953 with VSQ320 and then till June 1954 with VSQ8 (Search and Rescue). Like her 17 sister ships she then moved to the Portuguese Navy. You will require Milton Shupe and Team's FS2004 or FSX Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon (harpfs9v13.zip resp. harpfsxv13.zip). The repaint features Global Airways' N79000, an early production Douglas C-54 (c/n 3058) built at the Douglas factory at Santa Monica, CA, and delivered to the USAAF on February 8, 1943 as 41-37272. In 1946 the Civil Aviation Administration took her over as NC79000. Having been converted to DC-4 standard, she was bought on April 11, 1951 by Eastern Air Lines as N79000 '721'. In May 1955 she was sold and served many users such as Northwest, Transocean and World. In 1960 California Airmotive became the owner of the C-54. During September and October 1960 the C-54 was leased by Global Airways, a company based in Philadelphia, PA, from 1946 to around 1960. (founded by Simon Bolnick and Joseph Raphael; passenger charter operations included fishing and hunting charters to Canada.) In May 1961 the C-54 was sold as D-ADAM to Continentale in Germany. Already in December 1962 Continentale went bankrupt and the aircraft was stored in the open at Hamburg. In July 1963 Aviation Traders (Engineering) Ltd purchased the C-54 for conversion to Carvair car-ferry aircraft. As it turned out, the condition of the C-54 was extremely poor (corrosion on many places on the wing spars) so makeshift repairs were done before the aircraft was ferried to Stansted for its rebuild to Carvair G-ASKN.

Roosevelt) and of the Netherlands Government Air Transport, as well as DC-4-1009s and C-54s (modified to DC-4 standard) of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and DDA Dutch Dakota Association. | North Vietnamese Government Ilyushin IL-18D Salon |

The Ilyushin Il-18 is a four turboprop engined passenger aircraft for medium-long range. The first Kuznetsov NK4 powered flight was on 4 Jul 1957 from Moscow-Khodynka airport, the first Ivchenko AI-20 powered flight on 17 Sep 1958. This plane was produced in series for 12 years and achieved great popularity due to the favourable load factor. The main operator was Aeroflot, but the IL-18 proved a popular plane with airlines behind the former "Iron Curtain". In view of possible peace negotiations during the war in Vietnam, the North Vietnamese leadership was in need of a long-haul VIP transport aircraft. The Soviet Union delivered an IL-18D Salon in 1968 registered 195 to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam as an "80th Birthday present" for President Ho Chi Minh. A bit early perhaps since he was born on 19 May 1890; he died at the age of 79. For a while the aircraft displayed on both sides of the nose the call sign BH-195; BH stood for Bac Ho (= Uncle Ho) and 195 stood for his Birthday. The VIP IL-18D was re-registered VN-B195 in 1973. In August 1976 she was transferred to Hang Khong Viet Nam though still wearing the original pre-1973 "Aeroflot style" cheatline. The last landing of this IL-18D Salon was on 15 Dec 1989 at Hanoi after which she was written from use. The registration was cancelled on 31 Dec 1989. The aircraft has been scrapped since. | KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-TAT |

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-TAT. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM, on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. This DC-4 and the sistership PH-TAP were the only DC-4/C-54's that wore this short-lived livery. From PH-TAR on KLM's DC-4's (and Skymasters) featured the famous 'The Flying Dutchman' livery. As PH-TAT, PJ-TAT and PH-DBT this aircraft served KLM in Europe and the Dutch West Indies until it was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. | KLM Douglas DC-6 |

File Description:
Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway.
