File Description: FSX - FSXRC Graphical Remote Control. This is an FSX (only) remote control program with a GUI. It is intended to help you fly your various aircraft without making changes to the aircraft files. This is a beta version with support for fixed wing, combustion engine aircraft with 1 to 4 engines. It requires Pete Dowson's FSUIPC v4 with or without WideFS, but it works best on a separate computer with the registered version of FSUIPC and WideFS. The program will work for 30 days without a registration key. If you want a key, email [email protected] with the installation code and your feedback. With this application you can have a flight engineer working with you or an instructor can monitor and challenge a student. A_VA-12 VTOL AirlineR2 'The True 'X' Plane'

File Description:
This is the next generation in VTOL airliner technology. the A VA-12 is the first version of this new and improved aircraft. This amazimg plane can lift-off vertically making it capable of taking off any where as well as making it a joy to fly. It is about the size of a 737. It uses 2 large sweeped wings and 4 adjustable jet engines, thus making it an incredibly stable sircraft. At first I had extreme doughts about this form of design and the original wing design I wanted was not air worthy, so I went back to the drawing board and made it much more stable. This airplane has a simple to use cockpit that is still functional. This plane can be easy to use for a novice or a challenge for a flying ace. In the end this plane is fun, user friendly and revoultionary.

EBAW2004 Deurne, Antwerpen (Belgium)

File Description:
The airport:
FS2002/2004. Is situated on the western edge of the city of Antwerp and is the home base of VLM Airlines (Vlaamse Luchtvaart Maatschappij). On one side, the airport is enclosed by a residential area, on the other side by an old fort (which is a protected area) an a major district road. All these factors make that the runway is pretty short and a challenge to land on with a larger jet, like a 737 for example. Extra info about this airport can be found on the net : http://www.antwerpairport.be/ Members of FSCB (Flight Simulator Club Belgium), together with the airport authorities made it possible for me to have a guided tour on the airport so I got the opportunity to make pictures of each and every building. This together with other information that people sent to me, I had all the ingredients to make a scenery to what it has become : an exact replica of the real Antwerp airport.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IX

File Description:
The Spitfire was developed continuously throughout World War II, through some 24 versions. A major revision of the original Spitfire was the Mk IX, a model quickly cobbled together to meet the challenge of the newly emerging Focke-Wulf 190. The high-altitude version Mk IX was essentially a Mk V with a 1,710-hp Merlin 70 engine, capable of more than 400 mph. From 1942 to 1944 5,665 Mk IXs were built, and at war's end many were still in RAF service. This is the airplane flown by Lt.-Col Robert (Bob) Rogers, commanding officer of Nr. 40 Squadron of the South African Air Force in Italy during 1944. This model has full animation, full lighting effects and a realistic panel with accurate views in all directions. a Checklist is also provided. The "Aircraft overstressed"-problem that occurs when trying fast maneuvers has also been rectified, so you can throw it about at your hearts content. HAPPY FLYING!!

Alaska Bush Scenery: Stony River Bend & Old Stony

File Description:
Here's your big chance to take-off and land using a curved airstrip. Stony River Bend is located just west of Merrill Pass, very close to Tom Fica's cabin at Two Lakes (part of his 'Merrill Pass' scenery add-on). The bumpy dirt runway - becoming slightly overgrown and prone to waterlogging - is marked out with wooden posts (lit at night) and presents a unique challenge: one that I haven't really sorted out just yet! There's a small settlement just up a log-lined trail from the airfield with a gravel service track connecting with a basic NDB/DME facility to help out with night or low visibility approaches. Although Stony River Bend is fictional, it has been based loosely on a real life runway at Elk City in Idaho. Three miles downstream is another simple backwoods strip called Old Stony - the narrow gravel runway here is conventional, but it's probably in an even worse state of repair. Designed for use with Eddie Denney's FS2002 mesh of Alaska, but the scenery is usable without it.

Trans Orient Pacific (TOPAC) Douglas DC-4 N4665V

File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was. The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge.
