File Description:
This one is a special since i felt the RAF should be included. The weapons package is somewhat different from the norm. Panel from a Chuck Dome original.This one is in the markings of Capt Ann James plane of the 617 Squadron 'Dam Busters'. Sound from the default Learjet but sound pack recommendations in the readme file.

This aircraft piloted by Capt. Ann James and is armed for ground attack missions. The armament package is slightly modified from standard to deliver a hard punch to ground targets.
The forward 30mm turret cannon has been removed and replaced with a twin pack Oerlikon Blitz 10mm rapid fire twin barrel gattling gun with 1500 round capacity.
The underwing stores are as follows :
2 GCBU-67 cluster bombs with laser guidence
2 ASM-42 Lancer missiles with armour piercing high explosive warheads
2 ASM-43 Lancer I high speed missiles specially designed for use against fortified targets.
This example also carries 2 CASPER pods
The Combined Aerial SensorPhotographicElectronic Reconnisance pods are an experimental package designed to read and transmit in burst form, intel data collected on route and during battle.
They are completely automatic in operation and use only passive sensors

File Description:
This is the final release of my Airbus 320-100 series for X-Plane version 7.61. I've included all the possible resources so far available in Plane-Maker,including flap rails and custom landing gear struts. By adding more cross sections I was able to shape a round aircraft nose which is very close to the original.I did my best with the airfols, that probably need to be tuned up by an expert. Panel and sounds are standard with some navigations aids added, but you can use any of the nice custom cockpits and sounds available everywhere. As with any other flight simulator the quality of the visual model depends upon the monitor and the acelerator card used. By setting to very high resolution in the rendering options and antialising in the acelerator card a good balance between quality and frame rates can be obtained.
The package includes bit maps painted in the Iberia and Alitlia liveries. You just have to copy the ACF file, the weapons and the aifoils to their respective folders. A basic kit for repainting can be obtained by e-mail request to the address below, since I don't have a web page. Comments and suggestions to improve the visual model are wellcomed.
It may be repainted and freely distributed

File Description:
The Columbia Metropolitan Airport Authority has provided substantial information about KCAE online, making it possible to pretty accurately model this airport. The taxiway signs have been placed according to exhibits in the airport's certification manual, and taxiway designations have been revised in accordance with upgrades to be effective mid-Novemer 2012. Most buildings have been custom modeled in accordance with information available on the internet, including Microsoft Bing birdseye views. The airport layout and landclass changes are in accordance with Google Earth imagery.
If you have Jim Dhaenens' lightobj.bgl installed, apron lighting will be included, and if you have
KB_static_aircraft_FSX installed (available at www.kb-sim.com/screens_static_aircraft.html),
additional parked aircraft will be visible. The layout of scenery is optimized for use with
Ultimate Terrain X-USA. FSX runs smoothly with this scenery on my computer, but it has not been
tested on a low-end system. Sometime after starting this project, it came to my attention that a
good scenery for KCAE was already available (but not listed at www.freewarescenery.com) from Jim
Hill that is another option as well as adjusting scenery complexity.
The new taxiway designations are not yet shown in the latest observed FAA airport diagram. An airfield sketch provided to pilots by the Columbia Metropolitan Airport is included in the package to show the taxiway designation changes.

Qatar airways "One World Alliance" livery is painted on Aerosoft Airbus X Extended A320-232 model (not included). The textures are saved in DXT5 format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition) and custom Bump 3D files. Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more.

AICull v1.0.1 is a simconnect utility designed to provide AI traffic limiter options from within the P3D simulation via a menu system located under the “Add-ons†menu. AICull uses a “Smart Retain X Current ICAO†mode (accessible via the AICull in-sim menu under add-ons) that automatically maximizes arrival and departure activity at the user’s current ICAO while still retaining “X†number of AI. Alternately,the user can chose to simply retain “X†number of AI closest to the user’s aircraft. AICull also provides the options to limit AI traffic to the user’s departure and destination airports (if a P3D flight plan loaded). In all of the above cases, exceptions can be made for enroute AI (e.g., higher than 10,000 ft AGL or 18,000 ft AGL). The user can also customize preset values for the “X†retention number. AICull works best for .bgl file based traffic solutions (e.g., AIG). Although AICull will also work with simconnect-based traffic injectors (e.g., UTL), they typically perform their own AI traffic limiting and may also re-inject traffic that AICull deletes. AICull require the installation of FSUIPC v5 or later, registered (preferred) or unregistered. AICull is fully compatible with AIFlow and AIGround. Ver 1.0.1 FIX: changes to AICull.ini file not being read.

| B17 Flying Fortress |

File Description:
The B17 is arguably the best known heavy bomber from WWII. Followed closely by it's direct successor the B29 SuperFortress it symbolizes the best of WWII's heavy Bombers. The B17 was one of the planes that barely made it into the war. In 1934 the then very small Boeing company had a prototype four engined bomber design called the B-299 but it had not been ordered by the US military. It had suffered several serious setbacks in it's design competition including a crash during a fly-off. Boeing continued work the plane and eventually secured a small service test order and the troubled early history of the bomber began.
The B17 and bombers like it were planes created as "strategic bombers". The essential idea was that a strategic bomber should be able to carry a very large payload for long distances. The military had come to the realization that bombing technology was by nature imprecise even with new advances like the American Norden sight, and what was required was a large number of bombs delivered by large number of planes to assure that a target was destroyed. Although the Germans actually had a decent "smart bomb" and the British built specialty bombs, neither was reliable, so it seemed the best idea was just to blanket the target with bombs.
An American extension to this concept was that of a self-defended bomber. Bombers could be built so tough and with so much defensive armament, it was thought, that they could simply fly to the target, drop bombs, and if necessary fight their way through fighters to get home. There would be security in the large number of bombers in formations, and the defensive capability would allow bombers to fly during the day for better accuracy in drops. It was to this design concept the B17 was built.
Early experiences in the war with B17's and B-24's could only be termed as disastrous. Loss rates of up to 25% showed the concept of unescorted bombers in daytime to be entirely wrong. Escort fighters were a necessity for success. It soon became apparent that with fighter cover the B17 really was an unparalleled strategic bomber. Success for the B17 shot up dramatically, and it's initial design specifications of huge amounts of armor and gunner positions served it well when fighters did make it close in. The Fortress had enough strength to stave off attackers until escorts showed up, and it became legendary for the incredible punishment it could take and still make it home.

File Description:
Edson is 120 miles west of Edmonton in Alberta, on Highway 16. It was originally named Heatherwood, but that was changed to honour the vice president of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway when it was made the local railway centre. It thrived, and when Highway 16 was upgraded it thrived even more. Coal mining and industry connected with timber are the main employers of a population of around 8,500. The airport is at the western edge of the town at 3,041 feet asl, with a single lit runway 6,000 feet long and 100 feet wide aligned 07-25, with displaced thresholds and VASI at each end. The two joined aprons are at the eastern end of the airfield, with fire fighting chemical tanks beside the western one which is reserved in the summer months for the Lockheed Electra Air Spray planes; these are included in the AI. The eastern apron is for visiting charters and GA planes, next to a small terminal building. There is further parking on the grass for resident planes next to a large gravel car parking area and clubhouse. As the Air Spray planes would not be fighting fires in the winter there are in fact two editions of the AI, one for the summer fire fighting season and the other for the winter freeze. Use whichever one is appropriate for your flight time; I never strayed far from Ottawa in the winter so for me it is the summer one only. While making this I came across something new in the shape of some incorrectly installed edge lights in the stock fs9 version that refused to be deleted. There is still an "Edson TOP" folder which would normally be used to delete all unwanted taxiway edge lights, but in this case it deletes only some of them. Apologies, but there is nothing more that I can do and so I suggest you use this in daylight only.

The FSX SDK ToolBox is a handy application for those of us who need to delve again and again into the SDK for Microsoft's new release of Flight Simulator X. It's basically an in-house tool used by TweakFS and we thought it would be nice to make it available to other FS developers as well as the general simming community. Quick links to frequently-accessed key FSX folders such as the Main FSX, ApplicationData and MyDocuments folders are also included, as are direct links to major FSX configuration files like fsx.cfg, scenery.cfg, dll.xml, exe.xml files and many more. Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. This sound is intended for use on Project Opensky's models, but they'll work pretty good I am sure on Wilco/Feelthere models and other freeware and payware planes. After month's of hard precision work, I present to you my new realistic and accurate CRJ General Electric CF34-3B and CF34-8C soundpack for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and x. This sound more specifically replicates the sound of the CF34-3C1 which powers CRJ-100 and CRJ-200s, however the CF34-8C sounds extremely similar to the -3B1 with a few minor differences. Also the interior sounds are mainly from a passenger perspective. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System and Fans in the cabin. You hear the humming sound of the CF34 at idle after you have started the engines. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the buzzsaw-like sound of the CF34 engine's fans. Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation sound, stall buzzer, overspeed beeper, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps, rolling, and touch-down. I am sure that if you are a frequent Canadier/Bombardier Regional jet aircraft flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew onboard a CRJ aircraft, that you'll pretty impressed by these sounds. Give this soundpack a try, I am sure you won't be disappointed!
