ATC Voices - Airline Call Signs set 15

File Description:
A collection of 17 new or corrected airline callsigns, for use with Flight Simulator 2004 and FS2002. Installation requires the EditVoicepack software (see http://bevelstone.xs4all.nl/FlightSimulator/EditVoicepack) by Lars Møllebjerg which is also available free download from the usual Flight Simulator download sites such as Avsim. The callsigns included here represent a range of airlines around the world for which flightplans and/or aircraft are available. All of these callsigns have been cross-checked with reliable sources - I do not create non-existent callsigns for badly compiled AI packages for it is obviously more sensible to correct the mistakes in those packages. If you are familiar with EditVoicePack to do not need to read the readme.txt file very carefully, in block capitals or indeed at all, just import these files like you usually do.

Avro York (Base Package)

File Description: Re-upload. Used variously as a long-range freighter and/or passenger airliner, the York was designed around the wings, engines, undercarriage, and tail assembly of the Lancaster bomber, adding a box-shaped fuselage and a center fin. Of a total of 253 production aircraft built, 208 initially went to the RAF, 25 to BOAC, 12 to BSAA, and 5 to FAMA (Flota Area Mercante Argentina). Specially fitted VIP versions were used by Winston Churchill and General de Gaulle. After completing 29,000 sorties in the Berlin Airlift of 1948-9, many RAF Yorks were sold to charter operators such as Aviation Traders, Dan Air, Hunting Clan, Lancashire Aircraft Corporation, and Skyways of London. Some of these re-acquired RAF roundels for "trooping flights" to the Middle East in the 1950s. From 1955 onward, the Yorks were gradually withdrawn, although some soldiered on until 1964. Two such veterans have been preserved as museum exhibits in Duxford and Cosford in the UK. Gmax exterior model and textures by Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, panel by Phil Perrott (Alphasim), Paul Edwards, and Lars Fors. A dedicated AI version has been released separately. The textures in this package represent MW207 of 246 Squadron RAF, BOAC G-AGNP ("Manchester"), and Skyways G-AHEY. The Flight dynamics are for a York fitted with Merlin-500 series engines.

ScotFlight AFCADs and Flightplans V1.0

File Description:
AFCADs, flightplans and aircraft for the newly released ScotFlight commercial scenery by VisualFlight The newly released ScotFlight scenery by Visual Flight (www.visualflight.co.uk) is a beautiful rendition of the Scottish landscape and landmarks. It contains many new airports which were not included in the default FS2002 and I have had the pleasure of beta testing it for the last 4 months or so. My freeware add-on package is in 4 parts: 1) AFCAD files for all of the airfields and airports included in the ScotFlight scenery. This will allow the smaller airfields to appear on the FS2K2 GPS unit and all will be listed in the World/GOTO menu. 2) EditVoice files for the new airfields so you will hear the correct names on the radio. (optional) 3) General Aviation flightplans for all of the airports, which can be added using TTools v1.3.3 by Lee Swordy. 4) Scheduled airline flightplans for flights to/from Scottish airports and small islands. Including 99.9% COMPLETE UK flightplans for Eastern Airways and 15 (yes fifteen!) individual BAe Jetstream J41 models, courtesy of Tom Woods, to use as AI traffic on the Eastern Airways routes. Plus directions where to get other suitable aircraft for, ScotAirways, BA Loganair, EasyJet and Highland Airways. Many thanks to Tom for his hard work repainting all the registrations for the Eastern fleet! PLEASE READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! Anyone with the AFCAD and TTools programs by Lee Swordy should have no problem installing these files but, it needs care and attention to get them right.
