| Boeing B-17G "Sally B" G-BEDF |

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the FSX Wings of Power II Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress, in the markings of "Sally B", the UK's last remaining airworthy B-17. One of the last Flying Fortress built at the Lockheed-Vega plant in Burbank, California, this aircraft was delivered new to the USAAF on June 19, 1945. Later, it was operated as a mapping surveyor in France before being brought to England in March 1975. In 1982, Ted White, the man who was responsible for bringing the aircraft to England, was tragically killed when his Harvard crashed at an air rally in Malta. In memory of Ted White, the inner starboard cowling will always be painted in yellow and black checkers, the same way Ted White's Harvard cowling was painted. For the past 31 years, "Sally B" has continued to fly, under the leadership of Elly Sallingboe and with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers. In 1990, "Sally B" played lead role in the movie "Memphis Belle," and continues to wear the same scheme she did during filming, with the exception of the Sally B nose art and checkered cowling.

This is a repaint for the Aerosoft F-16 depicting the 2024 Viper Demo aircraft 91-0395 from the 55th FS, Shaw AFB, in the "Haveglass 5" paint scheme. I've called this repaint "v2.0" because I've corrected and error I noticed recently. The tailband on the jet is supposed to be BLUE/white checkered, not BLACK/white as I painted it on the previous version(...oops!), so I fixed that. I also noticed that the missile rails on the "real" jet are grey, not Haveglass, and that the pylons and tanks are also grey. So for this version I painted the missile rails grey, BUT I painted the pylons and tanks in both Grey AND Haveglass, so you can choose which "color" appear on the jet (I put Haveglass Pylons w Grey tanks on to start for a "demo") PLUS, since the first version, I upgraded/repainted both the INERT and LIVE weapon textures so they look more realistic, so I included those with this jet! As a BONUS, I also created Conformal Fuel Tanks textures, so you can use these textures with that model, too!

File Description:
This FSX Airport is more then just a AFX style Airport. As most know the Approach and Final (VMC) for AI Traffic in FSX is a straight in type landing and does not always consider high terrain at airports. This is due to the way that the coding is written in FSX and it puts limits on IFR arriving aircraft. At certain airports the AI Traffic will fly directly through a mountain once it is established on Final for a runway. What you will see with my files is a different type approach used for both the way I control AI and User Airplane Traffic in FSX. No longer do the AI Planes use a straight in approach when landing at LOWI. My AI Aircraft Approach coding for FSX uses a visual offset approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains. The Innsbruck Control Tower will clear all AI Traffic (IFR FP) landing either on RWY 08 or 26 as a straight in landing even though the offset to final is 30 degrees from the runway center line. | B-47 History Package texture fix |

File Description:
This is a set of engine pod textures to fix a pair of flaws in the originals. There is also a vertical tail texture to replace one that was accidentally released in a lower resolution format, and a new copy of the Manual with a minor edit to the legal section. Corrected files are provided for each texture folder and they self-install to the correct texture folders with just a couple simple clicks. Original and corrected textures painted by Mick.

File Description:
This is a fixed version of the freeware Vickers Viscount 700 by Rick Piper of Somali Airlines, that I had posted previously (somali_viscount_700_piper.zip). A couple of people said that the Arabic lettering on the starboard side of the aircraft was back to front. This fix corrects the error.
Just delete the "texture.Somali" in your Vickers Viscount 700 folder, and replace it with this one.

| RAF Metheringham - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England **FIX** |

File Description:
This is a fix which will sort out the scenery configuration error which prevented the scenery from showing.
Metheringham airfield is located two miles to the east of Metheringham village on the B1189. The airfield opened in October 1943 as a Class 'A' bomber airfield within 5 Group. The standard three intersecting concrete runways were provided as were two T2 hangars and a B1. One of the T2s was on the technical site to the south-west, which straddled the B1189 and the other was located off the eastern perimeter track. The bomb stores were to the north and between these and the north-west runway head stood the B1 hangar. The communal and accommodation sites were located in fields to the south and west. Metheringham was also equipped with FIDO fog dispersal equipment. The station closed in 1951 and very little remains of the station now although a small visitors centre with a little museum on site.
