B-17G-15-BO 42-31353, 322BS, 91BG, 8th AF , This aircraft participated in the first large daylight raid on Berlin on 6 March 1944. It was later passed on to the 323BS in early April and subsequently downed by flak over 'Big B' on April 29. Only half the crew survived. For the A2A WoP3 B-17G model.

May 29, 1953 has gone done in the books of history when New Zealander Edmund Hillary (now Sir Edmund Hillary) and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay (now deceased) stepped on to the highest point on earth, the summit of Everest, using bottled oxygen.
This FS2004 screen shot is in recognition of the 50th anniversary of this magnificent climb.

In Hungary, there are 22 (mostly ex-military, and abandoned) concrete runways.
We are planning to create these, as freeware sceneries, one-by-one.
This is Kiskunlacháza AFB, located south of Budapest.
It was the base of the Soviet 14. Fighter Regiment equipped with 45 MiG-29 in 1990, when they left Hungary.
Since than, the base is abandoned.
