Active ILS - KCLE (Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport)

File Description:
By design KCLE is now another Airport that features advanced ATC control. As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Traffic is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2. If you add a new runway and ILS to an airport such as KCLE (6L/24R) only the user aircraft can use this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles. ATC will no longer use this runway for Traffic because FS9 sees it as a visual runway. This will cause ATC to vector your plane and AI Traffic back to 6R/24L which is also a Terminal Departure Runway. All 3 runways for KCLE are now simultaneously active for departure and arrival. There are many additioanl options added so follow the instructions in the README and just sit back (or fly) and plane spot either VMC or IMC for a very active airport. *** Shehryar 'Shez' Ansari's popular KCLE Scenery AFCAD2 and special ILS bgl also included ***

Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field (KAGS)

File Description:
TerraModels Scenery Development System by Allen Kriesman was used to create the scenery for Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field (KAGS), Georgia. Biber Salsa models were also used to create this scenery. The taxiways were added using the program by Peter Jacobson. No custom models were created for this scenery.

Block Island State Airport, Rhode Island (KBID)

Auckland International Airport, Auckland, New Zealand (NZAA)

File Description:
This is my last refinement to NZAA's Afcad2 .bgl . Essentially it is based on the APRON chart for Auckland, so the gate placement is fairly realistic. This has been extensivly tested by me, using both PAI and MRAI schedules. Airlines I'm running at NZAA: Air NZ (Intl/Dom), Qantas (Intl/Dom), Eva Air, Guardia Indonesia, Japan Airlines Int'l, Freedom Air, Aerolineas Argentinias, Singapore Airlines, Thai, Emirates, Cathay Pacific. And they all have ample space, at peak times there is always a spare int'l space & domestic has plenty of room.

W91 Smith Mountain Lake Airport in Virginia

File Description:
W91 Smith Mountain Lake Airport near Lynchburg, Virginia (MY soon to be NEW HOME) This project is nearly ALL RWY12 ... I did use the Lago Scenery enhancer for the trees.. so if you have LAgo.. the .SE2 is included, but you really don't need it. But you will need RWY12 with all the latest additions... all freeware and all available here at avsim. Instructions... best to unzip to a temp directory... then do the following.. if you use Lago's Scenery Enhancer... place the .SE2 file in (Your flightsim main folder)\LAGO\FSE\Data. Unziping will create a folder titled "Smith Mountain Lake" .. in that folder is one titled "scenery" Simply place Smith Mountain Lake in (your flightsim main folder)\Addon scenery\ folder then start the simulator.. go to settings, the library.. and - well most all know the drill .... add the folder Spring Mountain Lake then exit.. and restart.. and blamo... it is there... (Hopefully- LOL) ALSO in the scenery folder are two exclude .bgl.. this got rid of the default buildings and an AFCAD .bgl... this modified the airport properity a bit.. just leave all the .bgls where they are in the scenery folder.. all should work well. oh.. for those who use RWY12 for scenery making... I have included the .XML file.. so you are welcome to add..subtract or change anything you find at Smith Mountain Lake. if you have any questions or comments.. PLEASE do drop me a line. Oh.. since I have your attention... a question for YOU... whether you download this scenery or not.... How in the world does one get rid of that idiot "Flying Tips" translucant window that appears.. telling you among other things .. your engines are not started... hit control E ... you ever notice how it ONLY appears when you have set up a screen shot and are ready to shoot?????? Write me and PLEASE tell me how to get rid of it.. I remember reading how somewhere, but for the life of me ..can't remember where.

Active ILS - LEBL (El Prat - Barcelona Airport)

File Description:
As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Traffic or the User Aircraft is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2. If you add a new ILS runway to an airport such as LEBL (El Prat/Barcelona 7R/25L) only the user aircraft can use this runway (without ATC commands) when visibility falls below 3 miles. ATC will no longer use this runway for AI Traffic because FS9 sees it as a visual runway. This will cause ATC to vector all your AI Traffic back to runway 7/25 old numbers, 7L/25R new numbers which is also a Terminal departure runway. This ILS bgl file adds all NAVAIDS for making 7R/25L a Precision Instrument Runway by adding all the radar fixes for both the ILS approach portion and the missed approach procedures, altitudes and intersections as per current published plates. All AI Aircraft/User Planes will now continue to use the new 7R/25L runway when Airport weather conditions are less than 3 miles. ATC will also use the right naming/numbers of the runways. The DME/VOR approaches have also been written using the new BCN/PRA VOR's for runways 7L/25R and 02. Many different default FS9 scenery GUID's added including Taxiway Signs *** FS2004 Default Scenery AFCAD2 included with the new 7R/25L runway ***
