File Description:
This skin depicts a fictitious pre-war paint, It's authenticity is not true to form. The original t.bmp and d.bmp files have been modified to include "right side" texture and damage. This skin is an unmirrored paint of the stock aircraft, spoked wheels have been added, the rear gun is back to it's original color, the wing insignia have been moved inward to a more realistic position, the paint has been given a "hue" to take the vividness out of the color, and the color combinations have been done in such a way as to make the skin a "hybrid" of sorts . . . not your run-of-the-mill aircraft, but just a bit more "eye candy." Repaint for the Wings of Power P-51D by Shockwave Productions depicting "Montana Miss," a restored Mustang owned by actor Tom Cruise. This aircraft has recently been repainted and renamed "Kiss Me Kate" in honor of Cruise's fiancee Katie Holmes. The Montana Miss scheme with its attractive nose art can continue to fly in the sim, though. By Dan Middleton.

File Description:
This is Wayne Adams' P-51D racer that placed 3rd in the 1965 Harold's Club Transcontinental Trophy Dash from Florida to Reno. Adams placed 3rd in 1965 behind Clay Lacy, but had finished first in 1964. What slowed Adams down was the fact that he was laden down with fuel and flew non-stop, rather than making the fuel stops.

This is a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, depicting G4-B "Sweet Helen II', flown by Capt. Harvey Mace of the 362 FS/ 357 FG. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on blanks by Milan Žejdlík. This repaint should work in both FS9 and FSX, as do all my repaints.

| P-51D Mustang "Petie 2nd" NL5427V |

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, 44-72942, is a WWII vet, and flew with the 12th AF. After the war the aircraft served with various ANG units before being sold surplus in 1957. The aircraft was restored in the early 80's and painted in the markings of Lt. Col. John Meyer's 352nd FG mount, "Petie 2nd." In 1985 the aircraft was purchased by Anthony Buechler of Wisconsin, and has been with him ever since, loging more than 2000 hours of flying time in the now 22 years he has owned the aircraft. It has never been raced and never been wrecked.

| Puzzle - Hawker P.1040, "Flight", 1949. |

File Description:
In 1947 Hawker Aircraft designed the P.1040 jet interceptor. Although it was never accepted by the RAF it did become the Seahawk and the first jet fighter used by the Royal Navy. This 450-piece puzzle comes from the cover of a beautifully-preserved copy of "Flight" magazine, March 3rd. 1949. No additional files or downloads are needed - the puzzle runs straight from the file. A ReadMe with the simple instructions is included.
