This folder contains two repaints for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47 #5, S/N 41-18527. This was one of the first from the 316th Sq.
ATC, to visit Project 19 (a aircraft repair facility in East Africa, operated by Douglas), delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt engines to the RAF. It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily, where, the pilot, Lt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK. The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments except the stand by compass. Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but the moon and the sticking standby compass. It was later used for experimental night camouflage, and this paintscheme is included as well as JK_Cricket. Jiminy Cricket continued to serve till May 1, 1947, when it was salvaged. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This is an updated version of this scenery to correct texturing errors. My thanks to the the good folks on the MAIW forums for catching and correcting this error. Situated in the San Francisco Bay Area and known as the "Gateway to the Pacific", Travis Air Force Base handles more cargo and passenger traffic through its airport than any other military air terminal in the United States. Originally laid out as a SAC base for long range bombers, the original hangar line and facilities for B-36 and B-52 aircraft have been largely rebuilt over the years to accommodate the current cargo operations of the 60th Air Mobility Wing (host at Travis). The 60th supports and deploys both the C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster as well as its own refueling squadrons of KC-10 Tankers. In addition, the base's former SAC alert facility now supports 2 transient Navy E-6B Mercury TACAMO aircraft detached from Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

KGFL - Glens Falls, Floyd Bennett Memorial v3.0, located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY USA, this facility is owned by Warren County and run by RichAir. Although it has a 5000 ft main rwy, KGFL is a Non-controlled airfield catering to small engine a/c up to a few private jet daily traffic serving 'The Northcountry' New York. KGFL recently received several upgrades including 4 new GA hangars large enough to accommodate the needs of business jets. All Objects fully designed and completely redone in GMAX using high resolution custom photo-real textures. Complete rebuild from the ground up for FSX since v2.2 for Fs9. Also includes new ADE file, more accurate airport grounds perimeter, satellite photo-real grounds, custom taxiways, 3D taxi-signs and taxi lights, area roads, animated hangar doors, and near area landclass. No AI traffic tracks included with this release, but ADE designed to support several AI. FSX Acceleration required.

File Description:
This is a scenery upgrade for Georgetown Airport, California (Q61). This is part Six of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth.
Changes to the default include surrounding landclass changed to mixed forest to match better the realworld, new airfield polygon to match shape and earth colours. The hangers I added had a mix of open door and closed door models, but for some odd reason they are all showing as closed, maybe it's just my system or some glitch, let me know if you get open doors!
I also added the usual extras which are of course artistic license!
Note that there are two exclude files, that is because I forgot to save data with one and new excludes needed another file making, sorry for the clutter!

This is a repaint of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM Passenger DC-3 in a specially commissioned livery for the 2009 DC-3 World Rally, organised by the team at DC-3 Airways VA.

File Description:
WashDCX beta is a complete upgrade to the default FSX Washington D.C. scenery. You will find included in this download: Satellite images; traffic files; and additional significant landmarks and buildings surrounding the downtown National Mall area. See the Readme file for a complete list. I have imported several models from Google Sketchup taking great care to minimize drawcalls for each one. Although all models may not appear "perfect" in the beta version, I have shown it can be done and it is something that can be improved on. You will find a drastic improvement of flying over Washington D.C. when compared to the default FSX scenery. This is the first beta release. TEXTURES ONLY......This is a repaint for Samdim's freeware Tu-142M......The premise of this fictitious repaint is the modernization of the Tu-142M to extend its life and retirement to the year 2030. What would Tupolev do to accomplish this? The exterior repaint that I have presented is intended to capture the look and feel of a test bed aircraft using modern metals, coatings, composite panels, etc. I used a lot, and I mean a lot of artistic license on this one. It would be nice to be able to add a more modern 2D "glass" panel to this aircraft's cockpit, but this is beyond my skill set. I would think that would be one of Tupolev's upgrade to this aircraft....I've included BMP textures with and without MIPMAPS.....I have only tested these modified textures in FSX Acceleration.

This file will upgrade my ELVA Boeing 767 Pack to version 3. Version 3 includes some major and minor updates. It also adds new features: Heat Haze (shimmer) effects plus smoke effects by Martyn Becker, Reverser Spray Effects by Edward Cox and Takeoff Spray effects by Dennis Franke. Fly UK Virtual Airways liveries are also included for Fly UK members to use as well. I have also created a low spec system option so that low spec users can use my boeing packages but with less features. See the readme file for more details.
