File Description:
Googlyafcad for VAKJ Khajuraho,India. Unfortunately, Microsoft provided nothing other than a runway at this small Indian domestic airport, served about twice a day by Airbii and Boeings of Indian Airlines and Jet Airways. These files redress the subject by providing the small ramp so that you, and your "AI" traffic, can land, taxi, park and take off realistically.

British Midland Airways DC-3's

File Description:
Derby Airways was registered in 1959 and took over all services and aircraft previously operated by Derby Aviation. Derby Airways fleet of DC-3's reached a total of 8 for the 1961 season but one of those aircraft was destroyed in a crash in October of that year. The remaining 7 DC-3's continued with the airline well into the 60's. In July 1964 Derby Aviation announced that it would be changing it's name to British Midland Airways. The name change took place officially on the 1st October 1964. The last DC-3 was disposed of by British Midland in 1969. This set of repaints depicts the aircraft in various liveries that were used whilst flying under the British Midland name. Requires default DC-3.

North American AT-6C/AT-6G "Double Vee"

File Description:
This is a repaint only for Alphasim's Texan/Harvard. This aircraft, "Double Vee," is the only authentic, fully restored aircraft in existence that was once used by the Tuskegee Airmen. During WWII its roll was to train the Tuskegee Airmen in the methods of aerial combat maneuvering and gunnery, this coming before graduated kadets would transfer to the P-47 and P-51 as members of the 332nd FG. The aircraft, now owned by Steve Cowell, has been fully restored and painted in its original markings it wore while in service as an advanced fighter pilot trainer at Tuskegee, Alabama. The name "Double Vee" comes from the historic campaign waged during World War Two for African-Americans. It stood for a double, uncompromised victory - a victory abroad against the Axis powers and a victory at home against prejudice. Repaint is based on Alphasim's paintkit.

North American SNJ-4 N7090C

File Description:
This is a repaint only for Alphasim's Texan/Harvard. This aircraft, N7090C, is beautifully finished in the markings of a 1940's U.S. Navy SNJ. Spending several years in Minnesota it became a regular sight to see for me in the summer before recently being obtained by a new owner in South Dakota. Repaint is based on Alphasim's paintkit.

HSSS Khartoum, Sudan

File Description:
Googly scenery for HSSS Khartoum, Sudan. For Sudan's main international airport, the Flight Simulator depiction is somewhat simplified, depicting just a few buildings which are badly located. These scenery files attempt to reproduce the real atmosphere of the airport - from the huge clutter of small hangars and workshops and large quantities of inactive planes through to the aircraft dump at the north end of the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and third-party object libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. These files complement the Sudan Airways AI Fleet Pack by Billy Rutherford & John Hinson, updating the scenery files contained therein, but the two are not inter-dependent.

Airlines of Western Australia - Fokker F28, registration VH-FKG.

File Description:
A repaint of the Project Fokker F28-1000 in the colors of Ansett's Airlines of Western Australia. Although the original aircraft was an MK1000 I have also created it as an MK4000 for those who would rather fly the larger F28. Textures only; requires the model to be downloaded from the Project Fokker website.

Cambrian Airways Douglas DC3's

File Description:
Cambrian Airways roots extend back to 1935 when Cambrian Air Services was founded at Pengham Moor airfield, Cardiff to provide flight training and pleasure flights. Operations were suspended upon the outbreak of war in 1939 but resumed again in January 1946. Operations grew steadily and DH Rapide and Dove aircraft were added to the fleet. A move to Rhoose Airport in 1954 allowed Cambrian to consider the purchase of larger aircraft. In November 1954, the first Dakota was delivered with the second arriving in January 1955. With the introduction of Dakotas, Cambrian Air Services changed its name to Cambrian Airways in May 1955. Over the years Cambrian owned ten different DC3's having a maximum of eight of the type on fleet at any one time and six remained in service with them until the type was retired in 1969. This set of repaints shows seven of the different airfames in five different liveries that were used during Cambrian's operation of the type.

Syamsudin Noor, Banjarmarsin, Indonesia (WAOO/BDJ)

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data file for WRBB Banjarmasin/Syamsudin Noor/Ulin in Kalimantan, Indonesia based on Google Earth satellite data. Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided very limited facilities at this important Indonesian domestic airport, served by over twenty-five flights a day by Adam Air, Airfast, Bali International, Batavia Air, Bouraq, Garuda, Indonesia Air Transport, Lion Airlines, Mandala Airlines, Merpati Nusentara and Sriwijaya Air jets and smaller craft. This upgrade redresses the subject by supplementing the GA parking with gates so that you, and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off realistically. Whilst this file improves the layout of the airport, it is not a full scenery upgrade and does not attempt correct building locations, landclass, taxiway signs or those stupid over-sized filling stations that Microsoft loves to put in annoying places. Regrettably the satellite data currently available is not of sufficient quality to do so.
