The De Havilland Heron must be the smallest four engine airliner in the world! And it can take off and land almost anywhere. This, the second in my Three Herons series, represents the Mark 2B variety with the luxury of retractable undercarriage giving improved performance. This is G-AOGO - one of nine Herons that served the airline for many years on charter work and scheduled services to the Channel Islands, West Wales and Holland from Croydon (initially) and Gatwick Airports. This package includes a high detail panel featuring many new gauges. As these gauges are common to all three in this series, these have been placed in a separate download herongg.zip. The De Havilland Heron must be the smallest four engine airliner in the world! And it can take off and land almost anywhere. This, the first in my Three Herons series, represents the Mark 1 variety with fixed undercarriage. This is G-ANXB - named Sir James Simpson, which served British European Airways for many years serving the Scottish islands and regularly used to land on the beach at Barra. This package includes a high detail panel featuring many new gauges. As these gauges are common to all three in this series, these have been placed in a separate download herongg.zip. | Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LG-N) "Boston Bombshell" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G-10-VE #42-39996 which arrived at Bassingbourn to join the 91st BG on 14 january 1944. She was assigned to the 332nd BS and after completing a few flights, she received the name 'Boston Bombshell' after the original aircraft carrying that name was brought down near Munster. Tony Stracer painted the nose art, based on Esquire's August centrefold by Varga. On 16 August 1944, on its 47th mission, "Boston Bombshell" was attacked by a group of 25 fighters before reaching the target, Halle. All four engines caught fire and she went down in a blazing inferno. Only two crew members survived, pilot Lt. John Dunlap, and navigator Lt Hubert Carpenter.

| Birmingham (EGBB) Complete Traffic Package V 1.0 |

File Description:
This is my first version of a project on my local airport Birmingham International. It consists of 2 folders, one has two afcad overlay files known as the 'Eurohub Terminal' and the 'Main Terminal'. The afcad files give Birmingham a lot more gates than the default and is made to be used with John Walker's Birmingham 2002 Scenery.
The second folder consists of the flightplan and aircraft folder used, which will need to be compiled to your flight sim directory. The aircraft used are 100% realistic and have been researched from the official bhx site and schedules.
The only flaw is that this version does not include any of the eurohub British Airways flights nor the Monarch charter flights leaving Birmingham. However in my next version i will include these as i have left the two most importaint airlines till last.

File Description:
This is a panel.cfg file for use with Jean-Pierre Langer and Arne Bartels Beaver panels based on photos by Larry Smith. It is made to be compatible with John L. Woodward's Beaver 2005 aircrafts that were recently released. This version enables the Photoreal 2D side views while still keeping the Virtual Cockpit. The 2D panel and side views are extremely photorealistic and excellent looking. I think you will really enjoy them if you are wanting a totally freeware DHC-2 Beaver. This is just a panel.cfg file and requires you to download the panel by Jean-Pierre Langer and Arne Bartels, and of course one or both of John's L. Woodward's Beavers. The panel is in the FS2002 Panels section of the Avsim library and the filename is bvr_pnls.zip. John's FS2004 aircrafts are filenames beaver_wheels_2005.zip and beaver_floats_2005.zip. Enjoy!

Tips and Tricks - Number 16. This issue has somewhat of an International flavor to it as several items we are reviewing have come to us from distant shores. Our readers have again provided a number of very useful Tips and recommendations. Also included are the usual assortment of "How-To's", links to useful sites, and much, much more. In addition, there is a "from the E-mailbag" department where we try to answer a question of general interest submitted by a reader. We have also included a little something for the "kids" (of all ages). Updated indexes by John Burford in .xls (Excel) and .pdf formats for the entire series are included. | P-47D 334th FS "the Deacon" & "Missouri Kid" |

File Description:
This folder contains two repaints for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing two aircraft of the 4th FG /334th FS. Included are: 1) 41-6484 QP-L "the Missouri Kid - Sho-Me", the first aircraft assigned to Ralph 'Kid' Hofer. He scored only one P-47 victory, but in a different aircraft. QP-L crashed on 2 december 1943, killing it's pilot, F/O John P. McNabb. 2) 41-6576 QP-J "the Deacon", one of the P-47's flown by Major Howard D. 'Deacon' Hively. He baled out of this P-47 on 15 june 1943 into the Channel, after being shot up by fighters over St.Nazaire. He was picked up by an ASR launch and continued to fly for the 334th FS.
