Syracuse-Hancock International (KSYR)

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery-In 1970, the International Civil Airport Organization awarded international airport status to Hancock Airport. With this designation, products manufactured locally could be shipped directly overseas and Syracuse would become a port of entry for foreign travelers. With this new status also came a new name-Syracuse Hancock International Airport - KSYR. By this time, over two million people a year were using the Airport. Scenery created entirely with EZ Scenery. RAF Rufforth

File Description:
RAF Rufforth was built by John Laing & Son Ltd for the Royal Air Force in 1941 (completed 1942), it is located on the south side of Rufforth village. The airfield had one B1 and two T2 hangars and 36 aircraft hard standings and there was accommodation for 1,531 males and 251 females of all ranks. The ITV fictional drama series "Airline" was partially filmed at the airfield in 1982. Be sure to remove any pre-excising Rufforth scenery before installing this one.

The flight plans included in this traffic set are derived with permission from John Hinson's world general aviation traffic file originally posted to AVSIM in July of 2004 (worldga.zip). This traffic file puts the Neuman Piper Warrior into general circulation and adds considerable diversity to world general aviation traffic. The revised traffic plan comprises some 5624 flight plans incorporating 19,802 legs for the 30 aircraft.

Connie Air Freight - L-049 Connie

File Description:
Fictional repaint of FSDZigns L049 Constellation: CARGO hauler "Connie Air Freight". Based on L-749 Connie HI-328 ARGO SA, early 1980-ies. Registration N049JW is a tribute to the late John White, designer of this great FS9 Connie model. This old, weary Skytruck is supposed to be based at Sint Maarten (TNCM) and flies all kinds of stuff around the Caribbean and sometimes as far as Florida/Bahama's. Textures only, it needs the file "fsdzl049a_v1.zip" available here at Avsim.
