File Description:
Here is an improved version of the stock Burlington International Airport. I added and adjusted
aprons, taxiways, and roads. Airlines have the proper gate assignments. I added Cargo parking, GA
parking, Military_Cargo and Military_Combat parking at the Air National Guard apron. I added the Army
National Guard apron and static helicopters. I added the Fire Station, maintenance building and equipment,
static vehicles and aircraft. I replaced most default buildings and removed a tall tower that was right
in the middle of the airport.

As most know the Approach and Final (VMC) for AI Traffic in FS9 is a straight in type landing and does not always consider high terrain at airports. This is do to the way that the coding is written in FS9 and it puts limits on IFR arriving aircraft. If you open runways at certain airports the AI Traffic will fly directly through a mountain once it is established on Final for a runway. What you will see with my file is a different type approach used for the way I control AI Traffic in FS9. No longer do the AI Planes use a straight in approach when landing at LOWI. My new AI Aircraft Approach coding for FS9 now uses a base leg approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains. The Innsbruck Control Tower will clear all AI Traffic (IFR FP) landing either on 08 and 26 as a straight in landing even though the offset to final is 30 degrees from the runway center line. My testing shows excellent behavior of the FS9 default models, PAI models and the Aardvark planes of all sizes to execute this new type of visual approach. By request, here is an improved version of the stock Lehigh Valley International Airport. I added and
adjusted aprons and taxiways as needed. I replaced many of the existing buildings with more accurate ones
and added several additonal buildings. Gate assignments for commercial traffic are correct, and I added
Cargo and GA parking spaces, plus a helipad. I replaced the control tower and moved it, and added
static vehicles, aircraft, and other filler objects.

| TACAN Replacements, Waypoints & Routes - UK Modern |

File Description:
By default, all of the TACAN navigational aids present within FSX have the bearing component turned off, so as to properly represent the real world result of tuning in the DME component of a TACAN with a civilian plane. However, this limits their functionality when you wish to use them in conjunction with a plane (generally military) equipped with a representation of a functioning TACAN system.
This download contains replacements for all of the currently active TACAN ground stations present in the UK, along with custom TACAN route waypoints as well as UK MIL AIP documentation and maps. These allows the user to fly the TACAN routes as per real world operations, as well as use TACAN approach charts.
