This archive contains aircraft sound files and configuration data to model the ATR 42-500 Series. FS2002 and FS2004 compatible.
I created this sound pack to address the fact that many of the default sounds are too "buzzy." While buzzing may be what you hear as an observer or even a passenger, the cockpit has a very different sound environment.
This project was designed to be a sound pack for use with an ATR 42-500, although I must say that I am also using it for my Dash series. The choice is up to you... installation is easy and can be reversed with a simple procedure if you don't like the effect.
All sounds were mixed and compiled for smoothness, resolution, clarity, and timbre. I think you will find the effect quite pleasing and a rather welcome improvement.

SIDSTAR Procedure File for KATL KBOS KBWI KDEN KDFW KLAX KORD KSAN KSEA. PMDG SIDSTARS Cycle 1204/1205 (05APR12-31MAY12) based on FAA National Data from National Flight Data Center, issued every 56d (Two Navigraph Cycles). These procedures include the following enhancements: All procedures are included as-published by the FAA and they are expanded to replace VECTORS with realistic route segments for use in a non-ATC environment (ie not using VATSIM or other service). All STARs include routing from the arrival to the final approach fix of the approach and all SIDs are expanded to include routing from the runway to the departure gate, except where noted in the file header. This AI-Package contains several beautiful airplanes: Boeing: B-52H, C-17 Globemaster,
E-3A NATO and F-18E Super-Hornet, British Aerospace: Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon and
Hawk MkT1, Hamburger Flugzeugbau: C-160 Transall, Lockheed: C-5A Galaxy, C-130 Hercules
and F-117 Stealth, and last not least Lockheed-Martin: F-16C Falcon. These aircraft
perform "Touch and Goes" in the local traffic pattern at Biggs-Field per attached
flight plan in order to get prepared for the upcoming Biggs-Field Airshow.
All the attached outstanding airplanes have been created by well known designers
(see briefing). My part was just to prepare them in order to work in an artificial
intelligent (AI) environment as good as possible.
The excellent El-Paso scenery "elp_photo.zip" from Kevin Burns, available here at the
Avsim library, is required to enjoy this package!

File Description:
This scenery is located about 55 Nautical miles WNW of Quebec City on a nice lake. It has two gravel runways, a dock for floats, a main lodge and several small cabins. Also there is a barn with an old tractor to keep the grass mowed and the old Dodge Pickup to run errands in. A fuel tank is provided for fuel. There are lots of Gerrish's trees around too. An NDB is provided to help find the place. there is also a water runway with start locations. Runway 15-33 is 2000 feet long and 9-27 is 1800 feet long.

File Description:
In March 2006 a Category 5 tropical cyclone devastated the Innisfail area in far-north Queensland, wiping out 80% of Australia's banana-growing capacity, 10% of its sugar cane fields and destroying many dozens of buildings and homes. Miraculously, not one life was lost in the carnage.
This Flight sees you piloting a RAAF Hercules from Richmond RAAF base, west of Sydney, in New South Wales, to Innisfail airport. You are carrying water-purification equipment and the necessary expert personnel to set-up, operate and maintain the equipment.
The Hercules used in this Flight is the Freeware offering by SimShed, at http://www.simshed.co.uk
The file is c130c3.zip. There are, of course, many alternatives available, both Freeware and Payware.

This scenery was derived from an actual Winery in Homer, Alaska. The scenery features
Winery Suites overlooking Glacier and Kachemak Bay Views. The main Bear Creek Lodge
sits just up from the suites along side the Winery & Vineyard. Random deer wander about'
the area, as Lago FSE sounds and objects dress up the area even more. The Vineyard
features and interchangeable season BGL files to show the hearth of grapes in different
seasons, and features a water sprinkler system for the Vineyard. An easy to read PDF

File Description:
Aafke Gruttzen, a Dutch bush pilot, has been flying the Usumasinta River for over 42 years. This natural border
between Mexico and Guatemala is a long river which moves thousands of tons of water irrigating many kilometers in the Lacandon
jungle of both countries.
Aafke flies from Tenosique in Mexico to the Oil Refinary deep in the river basin. All Mail and general merchandise
travels in either his old 140 or DH2. Today, his last day on route, is sad and rainy. You will start flying the route
after tomorrow when he retires to Burgerbrug in his native Holland. Follow the river and you might be here for 42
more years like he did.

This Mystic Rock Resort (Mystic Rocks Nat'l Monument) is fictitious and located 35 miles west of Ketchikan, Alaska. It's main attraction are the huge rocks left here some 2.6 million years ago, when glaciers covered the northern hemisphere - as the glaciers moved south they brought these rocks more than 600 miles leaving them at their current locations.
The resort has a water runway and helipad, two start locations, an NDB (ADF) frequency of 302.0 and many, many attractions. Your visit may lead to running tours by helo or small float plane to these geological wonders. Designed with a clean FSX installation and to enhance your FS world. File Description:
Located near Newfield, New Jersey, Rudys Airport is a privately-owned turf airstrip. Trees close to the runway on one end and water on the other can provide for a challenging approach. The turf strip is 2364x100 with a heading of 08/26. Trees are summertime ONLY.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

File Description:
This ship is a fictional VLCC Tanker with texture sets for Shell and Turnbull Scott Shipping Co.
There is a VC Bridge with animated female Captain and a VC Control Room with animated female Chief Engineer Officer. There is also an animated male Third Engineer Officer on watch in the Control Room. The tanker is in a ballasted state and hence rides high out of the water. Most Gauges used are default FS2004 gauges. The Model uses 'nn-gauges' Smoke control gauge by Nick Needham for the smoke and spray effects and with his permission is included in this package. Please read the 'readme' for further info and easy installation instructions.
