Alpha Centuri Enhancement Addon 1

File Description:
Updated correction. An enhancement package for the Alpha Centuri addon for Orbiter. Included in this enhancement pack are full color planetary and moon maps for most of the systems in the Alpha Centuri system, 3 new planets, a correction to orbital data for planet Alpha7, an updated alpha_centuri.cfg file, including the fix from the patch, and a new base on Alpha2a with accompianing new scenareo. Planet 3 now works! It is a Venus type of moon 2.5 AU away from the star. The crash to desktop when you exit Orbiter is no more. I desided to release future updates like this, as a numbered enhancement pack instead of re-releasing the entire 5 meg system. Each enhancement pack will be numbered numerically if and when I do a new update. Any future updates will require all past enhancement packs installed.

Night water FS9 reupload

File Description:
This is the description from the read me: In the real world, at night, water appears all black. You can't see it from the air unless there is a moon reflection. To get this effect in fs2004, all water display effects have to be set to minimums. Not any more! Now with Real Night Water, you no longer have to mess with your diplay settings. The water appears black and there is even waves and moon reflections, just like in the real world. No more silver glaze over the water at night. It will work with default textures but was designed utilizing xtra Water by FullThrottleSims/Hector Davila (xtrawater.zip) which is highly recommended and freeware available on this site. Replacement Dynamic Water Texture Set Version 12

File Description:
Replacement dynamic water texture set for FS2004 (VERSION 12). The default reflections and water colors leave a lot to be desired in FS2004. As an example; The default "bright green" overcast texture is highly unrealistic in overcast conditions. Most of the FS9 default colours are generally too electric and cartoon like. These replacement textures will change these water environment textures dramatically to a much more convincing and realistic colour and, with improved lighting and reflections in respect to the sun. Version 12 moon light textures are new and there is an improved mid-sun with more convincing reflections. Now when you fly by moonlight you can actually see the moon kissed water and even see some wave action. It actually feels like you are there! There are 3 moon light textures in this download. These replacement textures will generally give a much more realistic tone and color to the water effects in FS2004. The change is quite dramatic and transforms the flight sim experience to a much greater level of realism. It is important to stress the default FS9 textures are fully compatible with these new textures and they can be used in any combinations and can be mixed and matched with the new textures. As a further added bonus a voice control file has been included for "Shoot" which will control FS2004 by voice. It is brilliant and it's free.

Descartes Enhancement Pack

File Description:
These files are meant to compliment the previously released Descartes Highlands: Apollo 16 Landing Site lunar terrain mesh. The highlight of the Descarted Enhancement Pack is the A7LB EMU or "Lunar Spacesuit", worn by Commander John Young and LMP Charlie Duke on the moon. Additionally, there is an A7L EMU Ken Mattingly model that replaces the stock CMP mesh for use during the deep-space EVA trans-earth procedure.
