The fourth of the coming P-166 aircraft series. I'm going to built the whole family of these graceful twins.
The Piaggio P-166A is a light small twin. An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. The BL2 version has some great improvements with respect to the older series: the new IGSO-540A1C engine pulls the aircraft at top speeds up to 180 Kts and performs great at high altitudes due to injected fuel. Comes with longer re-modelled nose for greater aerodynamics that lets install new advanced avionics. The larger tiptanks improve greatly the plane's range. The First BL2 is dated 1975. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light anphibian, wich the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tailplanes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957. The aircraft is still in production in a slightly modified turboprop version, the P-166D-P1. This model is 788 Kbs with c.a. 23000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. There are four main northwestern Alaska towns which are serviced by Alaska Airlines, and from which local flights spread out. The northernmost is Barrow. Southwest of Barrow is Kotzebue, then Nome, and the furthest south is Bethel (not yet made). This is a continuation of the series for the flights from Kotzebue, 170 miles to the east where Kobuk is on the bank of the Kobuk River, and Dahl Creek is 2 miles to the north. Kobuk is a small village on the Kobuk River, like Ambler and Shungnak, but with a population of only around 150. The river is the reason for the existance of the villages as it served (and still does) as both a source of food and a transport route. The airfield is just beside the village, with a runway around 4,500 feet of lit gravel and aligned 09-27, with PAPI on both ends. There are scheduled flights by Era (now renamed Ravn) and by Bering Air, both of them originating in Kotzebue and routing east to Ambler, Shungnak, Kobuk, and then back again. The AI includes these flights along with Everts Air and GA. The FS9 airfield has been relocated by approximately a mile to the correct position, and the elevation accordingly adjusted. The Dahl Creek strip is publicly owned, with no maintenance and a deteriorating gravel runway that has not long to survive. This probably does not work properly without Ultimate Terrain Alaska Canada as the village is now on the river bank. I am presuming that you have downloaded and installed Nome PAOM, along with the instructions on how to adjust Ultimate Terrain Alaska Canada to get the most realistic results. If you are not making the UT adjustments then you may be seeing duplicated roads, as I am including new local dirt or gravel roads to connect village to airfield etc to get the best overall result; I will not be making alternate versions.

File Description:
It was the most important Italian bomber of World War II, this tough three-engined aircraft established a reputation that contrasted with most Italian weapons of the day, and it was flown with courage and skill. SM.79s served widely in the normal bombing role, but it is as a land-based torpedo bomber that the type deserves its place in military aviation history, being regarded by many as one of the finest torpedo bombers of the war.
The basic design continued the company's tradition of mixed construction with steel tubes light alloy wood and fabric (this being the only way to produce in quantity with available skills and tools); in spite of its cumbersome appearance and outdated construction, the S.M.79 was a rugged, reliable multi-role medium bomber which did quite a bit of damage in the face of heavy opposition. About 1,300 production models were built over a nine year period. They had internal provision for 2,750 lb (1,250 kg) of bombs, supplemented by under fuselage rack for a torpedo. The SM.79 had a distinctive 'hump' on the upper forward fuselage, which housed both the fixed forward-firing heavy machine-gun and the dorsal gunner's position. Its appearance earned the aircraft the nickname 'Gobbo Maledetto' ('Damned Hunchback'). Post-war surviving SM.79s were converted into various versions of utility transports during the last phases of the war and survived in that role until 1952.

Six different liveries (2 Regia Aeronautica, 1 A.N.R./R.S.I. , 2 Spanish Nationalist Air Force, 1 Italian Co-Belligerant Air Force); VC only. Tested in FSX. Original CFS3 Model by Italianwings, converted and modified for FS2004 by Manuele Villa, January 2008. Installation instructions and paint-kit included.

File Description:
The Fiat G91Y was a reconnaissance and ground-attack aircraft produced by Italian company FIAT as an evolution of Fiat G91. The first flight took place in 1966. It was a complete redesign, but the major difference was that G91Y installed 2 engines, in order to increase the power and the capability to survive to damages during war operations. The single Bristol Orpheus turbojet engine of G91 was then replaced by two afterburning General Electric J85 turbojets which increased thrust by 60% over the single-engined variant.
Structural modifications to reduce airframe weight increased performance further and an additional fuel tank occupying the space of the G.91T's rear seat provided extra range. Combat manoeuvrability was improved with the addition of automatic leading edge slats.
Flight testing of three pre-production aircraft was successful, with one aircraft reaching a maximum speed of Mach 0.98.
Airframe buffeting was noted and was rectified in production aircraft by raising the position of the tailplane slightly.
An initial order of 55 aircraft for the Italian Air Force was completed by Fiat in March 1971.
The order was increased to 75 aircraft with 67 eventually being delivered.
The first pre-series 'Yankee' (the nickname of the new aircraft) flew in July 1968.
AMI (Italian Air Force) placed orders for two batches, 35 fighters followed by another 20, later cut to ten.
The last one was delivered around mid 1976, so the total was two prototypes, 20 pre-series and 45 series aircraft.
No export success followed.
These aircraft served with 101° Gruppo/8° Stormo (Cervia-S.Giorgio) from 1970, and later, from 1974, they served with
the 13° Gruppo/32° Stormo (Brindisi) until the early '90s, as the only ones equipped with the 'Yankee', using them as attack/recce machines, both over ground and sea, until the AMX replaced them.
