| WashDCX beta for FSX |

File Description:
WashDCX beta is a complete upgrade to the default FSX Washington D.C. scenery. You will find included in this download: Satellite images; traffic files; and additional significant landmarks and buildings surrounding the downtown National Mall area. See the Readme file for a complete list. I have imported several models from Google Sketchup taking great care to minimize drawcalls for each one. Although all models may not appear "perfect" in the beta version, I have shown it can be done and it is something that can be improved on. You will find a drastic improvement of flying over Washington D.C. when compared to the default FSX scenery. This is the first beta release. | Douglas XC-112A/YC-112A |

File Description:
In order to meet a USAAF requirement for an improved version of the C-54 Skymaster, Douglas proposed in July 1944 a simple development of the C-54E, combining its unpressurised fuselage with 2100 hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800 C series engines: the XC-112. Soon this idea was dropped in favour of the stretched and pressurised XC-112A. The XC-112A made its first flight on 15 February 1946 and was in fact the prototype of the civil DC-6. Following the first initial testing the aircraft was delivered on 22 June 1946 to the USAAF, designated YC-112A, where it flew 9 years before starting a 21 years spanning commercial career as a DC-6. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-6 (early version) (dc6_v20x.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen, repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

File Description:
This is a complete redo of the default FSX CZBB Boundary Airport, BC using ADE v1.37, Google Earth satellite image and the latest airport chart effective as of 31 July 2008. The airport center and boundary repositioned. Control tower moved and replaced. Runway 07/25 extended to 5606 ft from 3540 ft and new taxiway E added. VASI Added to Runway 07/25. Taxiway signs added and/or corrected. Airport aprons resized and added where necessary. Taxiways and roads added. Static airport library objects and vegetation added for an improved look. XWind runways activated. Airport views are from the roof of the control tower when in tower view. A fuel truck has been added - Shift-F will bring this truck to your aircraft for refueling and will automatically refuel AI aircraft after landing and before take off. Airport chart and history included.

File Description:
The YAS_MkVb(538).zip model is a completely revised model, with new revised AIR file.
New textures, new Multi-resolution breakable model, and improved gunsight etc etc. Provision for 250Lb and 500Lb bombs. I've also included for a set of Checklists/ pilot notes. YAS_pack.zip required for panel/gauges/sounds.
Based on a model Spitfire F MkVb, serial EP210, coded "538" to represent an aircraft from 57th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Red Army, Russia, early 1943.
Britain sent 143 MkVb spitfires to Russia in March 1943. These were shipped to Basra (Iraq), re-assembled and flown to Russia via Iran. The VHF radios were replaced with the older Tr9 HF model, hence the additional aerial wire to the tail. This model represents one fitted with the RPK 10M Direction Finding aerial (DF loop behind main aerial mast).

File Description:
This file was produced in ADE v1.35 and is an updated and enhanced version of Ray Smith's crosswind AFCAD for the airport - improved with Ray Smith's kind permission. It also owes a great deal to the help I have had from Jim Vile and Jon Masterson at fsdeveloper.com. This new version updates airline codings, increases parking at the domestic terminal for Cebu Pacific Air, Asian Spirit and South East Asia Air and improves the flow of traffic around the airport. Some buildings have been added to create a little more of the feel of the real airport. The overall impact is significantly increased traffic. Tested with WOAI and custom AI traffic. For other changes made, please see the Readme. (Re-upload.) There is a more up to date version of this airport by me with Terminal 3 open and in use: aig_rpll_nino_aquino_manila_fsx_default_v2.zip
